1. E. HOWARD HUNT, THE CIA OFFICER WHO ADMITTED HE WAS PART OF THE PLOT TO MURDER JFK.
There was a time when E. Howard Hunt would make the news simply by showing his face in public. Hunt ran the ‘Plumbers’, the dirty tricks unit that broke into the Watergate building in 1972, and sparked the Watergate scandal. Offices in the building were occupied by the Democratic Party. The ‘Plumbers’ were seeking political information for Richard Nixon, a Republican, who was president at the time.

The Plumbers were Nixon’s private intelligence and dirty tricks group. Nixon gave Hunt the job as leader of the unit because of his CIA background. When Nixon was vice-president, he oversaw the preparations for what became the Bay of Pigs fiasco, when a US-backed paramilitary force invaded Cuba. Hunt was centrally involved in that and other CIA dirty trick operations, as was Nixon. Had it not been for Watergate, Hunt would probably have become Director of the CIA later in the 1970s.
Hunt knew where all of the CIA’s dirty linen was hidden because he had soiled most of it himself. In 2004, he made a series of tape recordings with his son wherein he outlined how the CIA had assassinated JFK in 1963.

The JFK assassination may appear complex on the surface but that is only because so many lies have been woven around it. If one proceeds on the assumption that E. Howard Hunt was telling the truth, the story is remarkably simple: the CIA did it in partnership with Vice President Lyndon B. Johnson. Edgar J. Hoover of the FBI was a willing participant in the cover-up that took place after the killing. Lee Harvey Oswald was exactly what he had claimed he was, a ‘patsy’, not the lone gunman who shot JFK. The fatal shot was pulled by a ‘French gunman’ on the grassy knoll.
Many of the CIA files which were declassified and unredacted in March 2025 are consistent with this thesis.
2. RUTH PAINE, 93, POSSIBLY THE LAST LIVING CONSPIRATOR.
Update: Paine died in August 2025. However, her tax records are still in existence.
The evidence of the medical staff at Parkland Hospital, an array of eyewitnesses, Marguerite Oswald, Lee Harvey Oswald, E. Howard Hunt, David Atlee Philips, Jack Ruby, David Morales, Christian David, James and Elsie Wilcott, Ann Egeter, Rose Cherami, Madeline Browne, Jane Roman and members of the Giancana family, is also consistent and combines to point to a conspiracy involving state actors.

The actions of Ruth Paine are considered later in this article (starting at section 18).
She is quite possibly the last living conspirator in the plot against JFK.

Time will tell if Kash Patell, the new Director of the FBI, or any of the other officials probing the JFK case, will order an investigation into Paine, especially her tax records which have been classified for six decades.
Paine is now 93.
3. THE OFFICIAL POSITION IS THAT JFK WAS THE VICTIM OF A CONSPIRACY.
According to the Warren Commission, Lee Harvey Oswald was meant to have shot JFK from the Dallas School Book Depository on 22nd November 1963.
The findings of the Warren Commission were set aside by the House Select Committee on Assassinations (HSCA) in 1979. The HSCA was set up by the US Congress. It determined that JFK had been shot as a result of a conspiracy. The HSCA did not identify the conspirators.

The Chairman of the HSCA was G. Robert Blakey. He has since accused the CIA of having lied to his committee, something many in Washington realised at the time. History will not be kind to Blakely. He let JFK’s killers slip through his fingers when there was a real chance of bringing them to justice.
Blakey’s suspicion fell on the Mafia as if they were capable of directing the CIA, FBI and various White House administrations to cover up the crime for decades.
4. OSWALD WANTED TO BE A SPY.
As a young boy, Oswald fantasised about becoming a spy. His favourite show on TV was ‘I Led 3 Lives’. It featured a daring American agent who went undercover to infiltrate Communist groups and report back to his FBI superiors about their plans to undermine the USA. Unlike most children with such fantasies, Oswald grew up to become a spy.

Oswald’s first brush with the intelligence community took place during his membership of the Civil Air Patrol which he joined as a cadet in 1955. While a cadet, he met David Ferrie, a pilot who flew missions for the CIA in the Caribbean and elsewhere. Ferrie was also mixed up with the mafia and the anti-Castro Cuban community. Later, he played a part in the JFK assassination.

5. LEE HARVEY OSWALD WAS A ‘PATSY‘.
After Lee Harvey Oswald was arrested in Dallas in the wake of JFK’s murder, he told the media he was an innocent ‘patsy’ or fall guy.
In the 61 plus years since JFK was shot, it has become increasingly clear that Oswald was a pawn in a sinister game. He was a CIA asset who was manipulated and betrayed by his masters. He was not involved in the murder.

6. OSWALD’S MOTHER BELIEVED HER SON WAS A SPY.
Oswald became a US Marine and served as a radar operator at Atsugi Naval Air Base, in Japan. The CIA flew U2 spy planes from Atsugi over the Soviet Union. In 1959 Oswald defected to the USSR. Oswald’s mother, Marguerite, revealed that she received letters from the State Department, and also from Lee while he was in Russia, both of which indicated that he was an agent of the US Government.

Footage of Marguerite Oswald discussing her son can be viewed here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=79w44wF7xak
7. OSWALD WAS ON THE CIA PAYROLL.
James B. Wilcott, a former finance officer for the CIA, at its Tokyo station, appeared before the HSCA in the late 1970’s. He had been employed by the CIA, from 1957 to 1966. He told the HSCA that he learned from his colleagues in Tokyo that Oswald had been a secret operative for the CIA while serving as a marine at Atsugi.

The revelation was made to him after JFK was shot. The Tokyo station went on alert. Wilcott was assigned to a twenty four hour security duty. He passed the time with agents who became quite drunk. They told him Oswald had worked for the CIA. His reaction was thus:
‘At first I thought, these guys are nuts, but then a man I knew and had worked with before showed up to take a disbursement and told me Lee Harvey Oswald was a CIA employee. I didn’t believe him until he told me the cryptonym under which Oswald had drawn funds when he returned from Russia to the U.S.‘
Wilcott provided the HSCA with the names of other officials who had knowledge of Oswald’s employment with the agency.
8. FOR SIXTY YEARS THE CIA CONCEALED THE ROLE OF ITS CHIEF OF STATION IN TOKYO WHO WANTED TO SUPPRESS PRESS INVESTIGATIONS IN JAPAN INTO OSWALD’S RECRUITMENT BY THE CIA IN JAPAN.
The 2025 declassified CIA files show that the Chief of Station (COS) in Japan schemed to deter Japanese reporters from investigating allegations Oswald was recruited by the CIA in Japan.

Why was it necessary to place this document among those the CIA deemed top secret for six decades on the ground of national security?
9. OSWALD AND THE SECRET CIA AIRBASE IN JAPAN.
The troopship that brought Oswald to Japan docked on 12th September, 1957. He was then assigned to the Marine Air Control Squadron No. 1 (MACS-1) at Atsugi. The airbase was located about 35 miles southwest of Tokyo.

Oswald worked as a radar operator in MACS-1, which was part of the Marine Air Group division 11 (MAG-11).
The Marine Corps Nuclear Weapons Assembly Team was located at MAG-11, thus, the CIA’s U-2 spy plane was not the only top secret programme about which Oswald could have picked up nuggets of information at Atsuki.

During his off-duty hours, he began to frequent Japanese nightclubs such as the Queen Bee in Yamoto where he engaged in a relationship with a Japanese girl. He later developed a relationship with a woman who was half Russian.
At some stage, Oswald began playing a part, that of a disgruntled left-wing youth who might be willing to disclose secrets to his communist friends. Soon, he was providing them with plenty of reasons to believe he was deeply unhappy at the CIA spy base.

On 27th October, 1957, Oswald allegedly pulled some gear out of his locker whereupon a loaded .22 calibre Derringer pistol fell out. The weapon discharged when it hit the floor and Oswald was allegedly wounded in his left elbow. He was court-martialled on 11th April, 1958, for possession of an unregistered personal weapon. He was sentenced to 20 days hard labour and fined $50 and demoted to Private from Private First Class. The sentence of 20 days hard labour was suspended for six months. In addition, Oswald was reassigned to serve as a mess cook. The fact the sentence was suspended, enabled Oswald walk free to complain about his plight to all and sundry.

Shortly after this, Oswald confronted, Miguel Rodriguez, a NCO who had assigned him to the kitchen and challenged him to a fight. Instead, the sergeant filed a complaint and Oswald was tossed into the brig, or so we have been told.
Oswald faced a second court-martial on 27th June, 1958. He was convicted of insubordination and sentenced to 28 days confinement and hard labour. His prior suspended sentence of 20 days hard labour was also activated. If E. Howard Hunt and others were telling the truth, and Oswald was a CIA asset, he was probably taken to a CIA facility to prepare for a false defection to the USSR, not the brig.

While allegedly in the brig, Oswald was meant to have become embroiled in a fight with a guard. Yet, he was released three days early, having served forty-five days of his sentence.
Oswald returned to duty and spent as much time as possible in Tokyo. There, he met another Japanese girl with whom he became friendly.
10. OSWALD VISITED NIGHT CLUBS IN JAPAN WHERE COMMUNISTS CONGREGATED. HE CONTRACTED GONORRHOEA IN THE ‘LINE OF DUTY, NOT DUE TO HIS OWN MISCONDUCT’.
On 14th September, 1958, Oswald’s unit was shipped to Northern Taiwan.

On 16th September, 1958, he visited the sick bay and was diagnosed with gonorrhoea. Oswald’s official medical file reveals that Captain Paul Deranian, the senior medical officer at Atsugi, recorded that Oswald had contracted “Urethritis, Acute, due to gonococcus #0303.” The file notes that he suffered the condition in the ‘line of duty, not due to own misconduct’.
One night, while on guard duty in Taiwan, Oswald fired several shots at something he claimed he had seen moving in the distance. The officer who investigated found Oswald slumped against a tree, shaking and crying, or so we are told. Oswald claimed that he had seen men in the nearby woods, had challenged them, and fired when they did not respond. The officer later suggested that it was all an act to get Oswald shipped back to Japan. It was undoubtedly a ruse but one that bears the hallmark of the CIA. It got Oswald back to Japan.

Back at Atsugi Naval Air base, Oswald sent to the hospital and was treated for his gonorrhoea, from 7th October to the 13th. He was not court-martialled for this as it was deemed he had contracted the infection during the course of duty. This indicates that his trips to the night clubs in Tokyo were part of his CIA mission, one designed to bring him to the attention of communists who would remember him when he defected to the USSR a year later. In spy parlance, he was creating his ‘legend’.

On 2 November, 1958, Oswald was put aboard ship and sent back to the United States. His first overseas tour of duty was over but it would not be his last. A year later, he would embark on a second, more clandestine one.
11. OSWALD ‘DEFECTS’ TO THE USSR.
Oswald was granted compassionate leave, something that was very difficult to obtain under normal circumstances, in October 1959. Further, he did so on false pretences, namely that his mother was ill. All of this was organised by his CIA handlers.
He made his way to Helsinki, Finland, and from there to Moscow on 16th October.

The CIA knew that the KGB had bugged the US embassy in Moscow. When Oswald made it to the city, he surrendered his passport to Richard Snyder, a senior consular official at the embassy. Oswald told his audience – in particular the Russians who were monitoring the listening devices – that he was going to defect to the Soviets and tell them the secrets he had learned while serving as a marine. Rather than detain him, he was allowed walk out of the building and defect.
A cable from Snyder on 31st October, 1959, informed the CIA that Oswald had threatened to reveal his secrets to the Soviets.
In a 1978 interview with the San Francisco Chronicle, James Wilcott revealed that it ‘was common knowledge in the Tokyo CIA station that Oswald worked for the agency’.
‘That’s true,’ Elsie Wilcott, his wife, confirmed. She had also worked at the CIA’s Tokyo station. ‘Right after the President was killed, people in the Tokyo station were talking openly about Oswald having gone to Russia for the CIA. Everyone was wondering how the agency was going to be able to keep the lid on Oswald. But I guess they did.’
In an article based on what he learned at the Tokyo Station, James Wilcott wrote that Oswald had been ‘trained [by the CIA] at Atsugi Naval Air Station, a plush super secret cover base for Tokyo Station special operations…Oswald was recruited from the military for the express purpose of becoming a double agent [on] assignment to the USSR … More than once, I was told something like “so-and-so was working on the Oswald project back in the late ’50s”.’
12. OSWALD’S 201 FILE.
According to the CIA’s Clandestine Services Handbook, a 201 file was opened on ‘subjects’ of interest to ‘CI (counterintelligence) investigation, prospective agents and sources, and members of groups and organizations of continuing interest.’

When interviewed by the HSCA in the late 1970’s, Richard Helms, Director of the CIA, from 1966 to 1973, admitted that the agency opened a 201 file on anyone who defected to Russia. At the request of the HSCA, the CIA carried out a search for Oswald’s 201 file.
When produced, it transpired that Oswald’s 201 file was created in December 1960 by Ann Egerter. She worked for the Special Investigations Group (SIG) in CIA Counterintelligence (CI). She answered to a man called James Jesus Angleton, a towering figure in the CIA. Egerter controlled the 201 file for the next three years. When the HSCA asked her to talk to it, she refused. It was only when Dan Hardaway of the HSCA threatened to subpoena her, that she relented. The verbatim record of her testimony was classified at the time.

Oswald purportedly ‘defected’ to Russia in October 1959. A file should have been opened immediately. Yet, a 201 file was not opened until 9th December, 1960.
Egerter was unable to provide an explanation but dropped a hint that Oswald was a CIA asset. Her HSCA interrogator said to her: ‘I hope you understand my questions are directed toward trying to find out what the purpose of the CI/SIG Office was and under what circumstances was the opening up of the 201 file [on Oswald]. I am given the impression that the purpose of CI/SIG was very limited, primarily to investigate Agency employees who for one reason or another might be under suspicion of espionage against the United States. Is that an accurate statement of the purpose of CI/SIG?’
Egerter replied: ‘Well, it is employees and also penetration, which is the same thing, of the Agency.’
These comments indicate that Egerter knew Oswald was a CIA ’employee’. If he was not, she could have made it clear he was not.
Richard Helms was also unable to explain why there had been a delay in opening Oswald’s 201 file. He told the HSCA: ‘I can’t imagine why it would have taken an entire year. I am amazed.’

When Egerter opened the 201 file, she recorded that Oswald had ‘defected to the USSR’ and had been a ‘radar operator’ but did not bother to mention that he had threatened to pass secrets to the Soviets. As a radar operator, Oswald would have observed the CIA’s U2 craft take off and return and thereby became familiar with at least some of its capabilities, such as time spent in the air on its spying missions.
It was also revealed that documents that should have been in the 201 file were missing. Helms claimed that ‘none of these documents were classified higher than confidential’ and that ‘because document dissemination records of a relatively low national security interest are retained for only a 5-year period, they were no longer in existence for the years 1959 to 1963′. This makes no sense since Oswald’s file was opened in December 1960 and hence if destroyed after five years, should have remained intact until December 1965, over two years after JFK’s death. It is impossible to conceive how the records of Oswald – an alleged Soviet defector and the man who was meant to have shot JFK in 1963 – could hardly have been classified as being of a ‘relatively low national security interest‘ and destroyed.
13. A TRAP FOR A MOLE: JAMES JESUS ANGLETON OF THE CIA WANTED TO SEE WHO WOULD ASK FOR OSWALD’S FILE.
James Jesus Angleton of the CIA’s Counter-intelligence department was convinced the KGB had a mole inside the agency. If Oswald was a false defector, Angleton was behind the machination. Angleton must have hoped the Soviet mole in the CIA would be asked by Moscow to find out if Oswald was a real defector. Angleton hoped the mole would go hunting for the CIA’s file on Oswald at Langley, Virginia, and thereby reveal himself. As there was no 201 file for the first year after the defection, a mole would have had to knock on many doors to see what he might find. The elaborate ruse, however, did not flush out a KGB mole.

There was a second level of intrigue involved in Oswald’s false defection. The CIA knew that the Soviets were aware of the U2 project. They had been monitoring U2 flights since at least 1958. Oswald, who was neither a pilot, technician nor an engineer, did not have a technical knowledge of the U2 craft to divulge anything significant to them. However, the CIA would be able to learn what the Soviets did not know about the abilities of the U2 craft by questions they might put to Oswald. If they had no questions, it would indicate that they had a spy, or group of spies, who had told them all they needed to know.

The Soviets shot down a U2 plane in 1960 flown by Gary Powers after Oswald’s move to the USSR.

14. OSWALD RETURNS TO AMERICA BUT – ALLEGEDLY – IS NOT INTERVIEWED BY THE CIA.
Oswald was allowed to return home in June 1962. If the CIA is to be believed – which it is not – he was not approached by anyone in authority to ask what he had done while in the USSR. If he was a genuine defector who had declared he would divulge U2 secrets to the Soviets, would they not have asked him, at the very least, if the Soviets had quizzed him about the U2 flights?
Was he not a traitor who should have been questioned thoroughly?

The downed U2 pilot, Gary Powers, suspected Oswald might have supplied the Soviets with information which led to his capture. Surely, Oswald should have been quizzed about this issue.
If, however, Oswald was a loyal CIA asset, not a traitor, he would have received a hero’s welcome, albeit one held in secret.
The CIA has undoubtedly been lying about this for decades. In reality, he would have been debriefed extensively by the CIA – but about what he had learned in the USSR. To this day, the CIA cannot disclose his debrief files as they would reveal his role as a CIA agent.
In 1976 James Angleton told the Church Committee in a secret session that the CIA had not spoken to Oswald.

Angleton’s (dishonest) evidence to the Church Committee, which was declassified in full in March 2025, can be read here:
15. ANGLETON: ‘THE VERY PEOPLE WHO ARE YOUR LAW MAKERS ARE THE ONES WHO DESTROY YOUR SECRETS.’
Angleton was involved in countless black operations in the West, including CIA plots against Western leaders including one directed against Prime Minister Harold Wilson in the UK.
He had a low opinion of JFK. At 6.27 minutes into the video interview below, Angleton talks about how certain unnamed politicians had betrayed the security of the West. He spoke of the problems that can arise when ‘the very people who are your law makers are the ones who destroy your secrets, the very people who profit from living in [a] democratic institution are those who denigrated the word national security until it has no meaning.’
https://youtu.be/vTgneJQxCts?si=EeSGUU3QaUHiDEU9
In Angleton’s paranoid world, JFK undoubtedly fitted into this group of inept leaders, especially after the Bay of Pigs fiasco, and the sacking of the director and deputy director of the CIA (described later.)
If, as E. Howard Hunt claimed, the CIA led the assassination plot against JFK, Angleton must have been at its very epicentre.
Angleton came to regret what he had done during his career, especially as he approached his death in 1987. David Talbot described Angleton’s last days in his book, ‘The Devil’s Chessboard’ thus:
‘But as he crept towards death in 1987, Angleton was less bound by the loyalty oaths of the past, and he began to talk about his career with a surprisingly raw clarity. By then, his lungs were cancer-ridden from a lifetime of incessant smoking, and his sunken cheeks and receding eyes gave him the look of fallen saint. The Catholic Angleton had always needed to believe in the holiness of his mission. And now, as he faced the final judgement, he felt compelled to make confessions, of sorts, to visiting journalists, including Joseph Trento. What he confessed was this. He had not been serving God, after all, when he followed Allen Dulles [director of the CIA, 1950-60]. He had been on a satanic quest.
‘These were some of James Jesus Angleton’s dying words. He delivered them between fits of calamitous coughing – lung-scraping seizures that still failed to break him of his cigarette habit – and soothing sips of tea. ‘Fundamentally, the founding fathers of U.S. intelligence were liars’, Angleton told Trento in an emotionless voice. ‘The better you lied and the more you betrayed, the more likely you would be promoted … Outside of their duplicity, the only thing they had in common was a desire for absolute power. I did things that, in looking back on my life, I regret. But I was part of it and loved being in it.”
‘He invoked the names of the high eminences who had run the CIA in his day – [Allen] Dulles, [Dick] Helms, [Frank] Wisner. These men were “the grand masters”, he said. ‘If you were in a room with them, you were in a room full of people that you had to believe would deservedly end up in hell.”
‘Angleton took another slow sip from a steaming cup. ‘I guess I will see them there soon.’

16. MARINA OSWALD.
Oswald returned home with a Russian wife, Marina. She is still alive. She too believes he was a CIA agent. During their marriage she was aware of his spy ‘games’.

17. OSWALD ALLEGEDLY REMAINS A COMMUNIST BUT HANGS OUT WITH ANTI-COMMUNISTS.
Oswald maintained his cover as a communist after his return to the US and settled in Dallas. Although he professed to still be a communist, he introduced his wife into anti-Communist ‘white’ Russians circles after they reached the US. One of these was George Sergius de Mohrenschildt, a CIA asset. He allegedly committed suicide shortly before he was to testify before the HSCA.

18. RUTH PAINE, THE LADY WITH CIA CONNECTIONS WHOSE TAX RECORDS ARE CLASSIFIED. SHE IS POSSIBLY THE LAST LIVING JFK CONSPIRATOR.

Ruth Paine, a woman with connections to the CIA, moved into the Oswalds’ orbit in February 1963, when she was introduced to the couple, at a party hosted by George De Mohrenschildt.

Paine, now in her nineties, is still alive.
Shortly after the De Mohrenschildt party, Paine invited Marina Oswald to live in her home with her daughter.

Sceptics, including New Orleans District Attorney Jim Garrison, have long questioned Paine’s story. Garrison famously noted that her joint income tax records were classified, asking, ‘What was so special about this particular family that made the federal government so protective of it?’ If she was working for the CIA, it makes sense that her tax records have been concealed by the US government.
Paine’s father worked for the US Agency for International Development (USAID), widely considered to have provided cover for CIA activities.

Her sister, Sylvia Hyde Hoke, was directly employed by the CIA.
Meanwhile, her allegedly estranged husband, Michael Paine—a Bell Helicopter engineer—was also tied to intelligence operations. Michael Paine was acquainted with De Mohrenschildt, the CIA field agent who introduced the Paines to the Oswalds.

19. OSWALD GETS A JOB WITH A MILITARY CONTRACTOR.
While living in Dallas, Oswald obtained a job working at Jaggars-Chiles-Stoval (JCS). JCS was a military contractor.
Oswald’s job involved him having access to classified maps.
Oswald could hardly have secured this job with a CV that showed he had defected to the USSR, unless he had some sort of clearance from the US government. He was dismissed by JSC on 1st April, 1963, and left on the 6th.
He soon moved to New Orleans.
20. OSWALD WORKED WITH GUY BANNISTER, A CIA ASSET, IN NEW ORLEANS.
While in New Orleans, Oswald continued to pose as a communist, in particular a supporter of the communist leader of Cuba, Fidel Castro.

Oswald set up a pro-Castro chapter of the Fair Play for Cuba organisation. As part of this ruse, he distributed pro-Castro leaflets and appeared on radio.
Oswald took his instructions from Guy Bannister, a senior FBI officer who was now working for the CIA. Oswald worked out of Bannister’s office and once mistakenly stamped Bannister’s address on a leaflet he was distributing, ‘544 Camp St. New Orleans, LA’.

The CIA stage managed a minor scuffle on the streets of New Orleans between Oswald and anti-Castro Cubans to raise his profile as a communist agitator.
Bannister’s secretary, Delphine Roberts, became concerned about Oswald’s association with communists only to be reassured by Bannister that Oswald was working for him.
21. OSWALD AND FERRIE VISIT JACK RUBY’S NIGHT CLUB.
It was at this time that Oswald was seen in the company of David Ferrie, his former Civil Air Patrol leader.
Raymond Cummings, a former taxi driver, knew Ferrie in Dallas. He once drove Oswald, Ferrie and another man to Jack Ruby’s night club ”The Carousel Club”. See the clip below:
22. RUTH PAINE GETS OSWALD A JOB AT THE BUILDING OVERLOOKING THE DEALEY PLAZA KILL ZONE.

Oswald returned to Dallas at the start of October 1963. Ruth Paine suggested to Oswald that he apply for a vacant post at the Dallas School Book depository post. He was successful and, on 16th October, 1963, commenced working at the depository building.
23. THE WORST CASE SCENARIO INVOLVING RUTH PAINE.
Paine answered more questions than any other witness at the Warren Commission, and became crucial to its depiction of Oswald as a lone nut.

If E. Howard Hunt was telling the truth, it means that Paine manipulated the Oswalds in the knowledge that LHO was going to be murdered after JFK was shot and her job was to act as the assassin of LHO’s character, all the while pretending to love and care for his two children (a second daughter was born on 20 October 1963) and wife.

Ruth Paine is still alive. The new Director of the FBI, Kash Patel, may yet order an inquiry into every aspect of Paine’s life.

For more on Paine and her family links to the CIA. See: https://www.jfkpaine.com/research/paine-family-connections-to-the-cia/

24. JFK IS ELECTED AND REFUSES TO INVADE CUBA.

Meanwhile, JFK had been elected as president of the US. He and the CIA did not see eye to eye from the start of his administration. Kennedy inherited a CIA plan to invade Cuba by anti-Castro forces. The invasion was set up and organised by the CIA with E. Howard Hunt to the forefront of the operation. Kennedy refused to send air support to aid the anti-Castro paramilitaries after they began their invasion at the Bay of Pigs. It descended into an ignominious failure.

25. THE SCHLEISINGER MEMO, A DECLARATION OF WAR WITH THE CIA, JUNE 1961.
Arthur Schleisinger, a key White House adviser, reviewed the part the CIA had been playing on the world stage for Kennedy. He prepared a 15 page memorandum in which he warned the president that the CIA had grown too powerful.

Schlesinger revealed that 47% of the political officers in U.S. embassies were controlled by the CIA.
Schlesinger’s memo ended with a proposal to give control of covert activities to the State Department and to split the CIA into two agencies reporting to separate undersecretaries of state.
A copy of the Schleisinger memo can be read or downloaded here:
26. JFK FIRES DULLES AND CABEL, NOVEMBER 1961.
In November 1961, Kennedy dismissed the Director of the CIA, Allan Dulles, and his deputy, Charles Cabell.
He later told his confidants that after the 1964 elections he was going to smash the CIA into a thousand pieces and scatter it to the wind.
27. THE BLACK OPERATIVES ARE SNUBBED AGAIN, MARCH 1962.

In March 1962 JFK rejected a CIA-Pentagon dirty trick operations called Operation Northwoods which planned to shoot down an airline and blame it on Castro as a pretext for an invasion of Cuba.

28. CORD MEYER OF THE CIA, MASTERMIND OF THE PLOT TO KILL JFK.

One of JFK’s mistresses, Mary Meyer, was the wife of a senior CIA officer called Cord Meyer. According to E. Howard Hunt, Cord Meyer was the driving force behind the plot that now developed to murder Kennedy.

The plot was egged on by Allen Dulles who was still fuming at his dismissal as CIA Director.
A number of cities were chosen for the assassination, including Chicago and Miami, as well as Dallas. Charles Cabell, who had been dismissed as Deputy Director of the CIA, was the brother of the Mayor of Dallas and in control of the local police force.

Vice President Lyndon Johnson, a deeply corrupt and immoral man, desperately wanted to become president but instead faced political disgrace due to corruption scandals that threatened to erupt at any time. JFK did not want him on his re-election ticket.
Johnson and Meyer got together to plot the murder of JFK whereafter Johnson would become president. He would then have all the necessary power to cover-up his crimes.

The assassination plot the CIA eventually settled upon involved shooting JFK in broad daylight while placing the blame for it on the shoulders of Oswald, a man they could portray as a communist agent. Had the shooting gone ahead in Chicago or Miami, a different ‘patsy’ would have been framed.
29. J. EDGAR HOOVER.
The Director of the FBI joined the plot. He was a close friend of Lyndon Johnson. The pair lived across the road from each other and dined together once a week.

Hoover hated JFK’s brother Robert Kennedy, who was attorney-general, with a passion.
Hoover was a homosexual and was under the control of James Angleton of the CIA who could have destroyed him if he interfered with their plans. It is believed Angleton had incriminating pictures of Hoover.

Hoover, however, undoubtedly went along with the plot voluntarily, as he detested the Kennedy family.
30. OSWALD AND DAVID ATLEE PHILIPS.
David Atlee Philips of the CIA was a master of black propaganda and dirty tricks. He rose to become Chief of the CIA’s Western Hemisphere Division.
Anotonio Veciana of Alpha 66, an anti-Castro paramilitary organisation financed by the CIA, worked with Philips.

Alpha 66 was involved in two assassination attempts on Castro.
E. Howard Hunt revealed that Veciana and Philips were involved in the assassination of JFK.
Veciana had been hinting about his knowledge of CIA involvement for decades. In 1976, Veciana told the HSCA that at one meeting with Phillips in Dallas in late-August or September 1963, he arrived and saw Philips (whom he knew as ‘Bishop’) talking to Oswald.
In 2013, Veciana opened up a little bit more. He gave interviews saying that he believed that the assassination of JFK was perpetrated by senior US military and intelligence officials.

Hunt’s relationship with David Philips began during a CIA regime change plot in Guatemala in 1954. They also worked together during the Bay of Pigs operation in 1961.
David Philips had a brother called James. James suspected that David had been involved in the JFK murder. Larry Hancock, author of ‘Someone Would Have Talked’, described how, ‘As David was dying of lung cancer, he called his brother. Even at this point there was apparently no reconciliation between the two men. James asked David pointedly, “Were you in Dallas that day?” David answered “Yes” and James hung up the phone on him.’

David Philips told Kevin Walsh, a former investigator with the HSCA: ‘My final take on the assassination is there was a conspiracy, likely including American intelligence officers.’
31. DAVID PHILIPS AND THE FAIR PLAY FOR CUBA COMMITTEE.
Another link between Oswald and David A. Philips was the Fair Play for Cuba committee (FPFC).

Oswald set up a branch of the FPFC committee in New Orleans. He distributed FPFC leaflets on the streets of New Orleans, some of which had Guy Bannister’s address stamped on them.

At the same time Philips was overseeing an operation to penetrate and monitor the FPFC committee. The (badly preserved) CIA document in the next picture was one of those the CIA tried to prevent Donald Trump releasing. It finally saw the light of day in March 2025. On its face it is rather innocuous document. The CIA, however, felt the connection between Philips and CIA activity surrounding the FPFC group a secret worth preserving for over 60 years.

32. OSWALD KNEW JACK RUBY, A MEMBER OF THE MAFIA FROM CHICAGO, WHO WAS WORKING WITH THE CIA.

Jack Ruby was a night club owner, drug peddler and gun runner. He was a member of the Chicago mafia was sent to Dallas to oversee mafia activities in the city.
The CIA was working with various wings of the mafia including Sam Giancana’s outfit in Chicago, of which Ruby was a part.

The Mafia has long been suspected of complicity in the JFK assassination, something underlined by the close relationship the CIA had with the mafia in the 1950’s and 1960’s. The CIA used the mafia in a number of attempts to assassinate Fidel Castro in Cuba.

Another of those involved was Carlos Marchello the mafia boss in New Orleans.
The HSCA determined that there was evidence of ‘credible associations relating both Lee Harvey Oswald and Jack Ruby to figures having a relationship, albeit tenuous, with Marcello’s crime family or organization’. The HSCA report stated: ‘The committee found that Marcello had the motive, means and opportunity to have President John F. Kennedy assassinated, though it was unable to establish direct evidence of Marcello’s complicity’.

Sam Giancana’s bother Chuck, and nephew, Sam Giancana, published a book called ‘Double Cross’, in 1993, in which they revealed that Sam Giancana had boasted that the CIA had killed JFK with assistance from the mafia. He also revealed that the CIA and the mafia had entered into a partnership and carried out joint enterprises overseas.

33. OSWALD LISTED RUBY AS A PERSONAL REFERENCE ON A JOB APPLICATION.

A report from the FBI’s New Orleans, to its HQ, stated that Jim Garrison, the District Attorney of New Orleans, was in possession of a hand written letter in which Oswald listed Jack Ruby as a personal referee for a job application. The FBI believed the application was for a post with a trucking firm in New Orleans and was written in the spring or summer of 1963.

34. THE CIA MONITORED OSWALD’S POST.
The CIA claimed that it had no interest in Oswald for decades. This was a lie. In July 2023, declassified files showed that the CIA assigned a man called Reubon Efron to read his post.

Efron, originally from Lithuania, was a fluent Russian speaker. This surveillance indicates caution on the part of the CIA that Oswald might have been recruited by the Soviets during his years in Russia.
Angleton was obsessed to the point of near paranoia about moles and traitors.
In addition, Efron was able to monitor any post sent to Marina Oswald. Her uncle, Ilya Prusakov, with whom she had lived in Minsk, was a colonel in the Soviet Ministry of Internal Affairs.

Efron was also in a position to ascertain if any of Oswald’s correspondents were aware he was a CIA agent. After he was chosen to be the fall guy for the JFK hit, this sort of information became of paramount importance to the anti-JFK plotters who needed bury this fact.
35. THE MEXICAN MANOEUVRE, SEPTEMBER 1963.
The CIA chose Oswald to take the blame for the JFK assassination in the event it would take place in Dallas.
David Atlee Phillips was assigned to Mexico City in the fall of 1963.

In September 1963, Philips, a black propaganda and dirty tricks expert, arranged for a CIA operative to go to Mexico in the pretence he was Oswald. The imposter arrived on the 27th and stayed for approximately six days. He visited the Russian and Cuban embassies.
The real Oswald was probably in Florida.
The CIA eventually had to produce photographs of the man they claimed was Oswald, but he looked nothing like him.
According to embassy officials who dealt with the man presenting himself as ‘Oswald’, on the phone, and in person, his Russian was defective. Yet, the real Oswald spoke fluent Russian.

A recording of the imposter’s voice was captured by a CIA wiretap. FBI agents and Warren Commission lawyers who heard it, agreed it was not Oswald. The recording then disappeared. The CIA later provided a date for its disappearance. They lied as the time they provided for its disappearance pre-dated the occasions on which the FBI listened to it.
Philips later admitted in front of an audience at a debate that Oswald had not visited Mexico.
The CIA had the Mexican security police torture Sylvia Duran, a woman who worked at the Cuban embassy to say that she saw Oswald at the Cuban embassy.

The story the CIA circulated was that Oswald stayed in his hotel bedroom between his visits to the Soviet and Cuban embassies. When that failed to convince, they concocted a story he had attended a twist party in Mexico.
36. CREATING A FEAR OF NUCLEAR WAR.
The CIA now had the illusion of Soviet involvement, something they could later use to convince key figures in authority that Oswald had taken orders from the USSR and Cubans to kill JFK (once they kept the photographs and telephone recordings of the Oswald imposter under wraps).
After the assassination, senior officials were told the Russians were behind the plot and that World War 3 might break out if news of the link to the Soviets became public knowledge. This enabled the CIA to keep anyone who saw through the attempt to frame Oswald as the lone assassin, in line. They could be told there had indeed been a conspiracy, but it was one involving the Soviets.

On Monday, 25th November, 1963, a mere three days after the assassination, the Deputy Attorney-General of the US, Nicholas Katzenbach, issued a memo stating that it was imperative to shut down the JFK assassination investigation immediately, and convince the American people that Kennedy had been killed by one man, Lee Harvey Oswald.
Even a preliminary investigation into a presidential assassination would have taken months. Katzenbach feared the Soviets were responsible and wanted to avoid a nuclear war.
J. Edgar Hoover would ensure that his investigators pursued evidence that indicated Oswald was a lone assassin. All evidence to the contrary was to be buried.

37. JANE ROMAN, TOP AIDE TO JAMES JESUS ANGLETON, ADMITTED SHE TOLD LIES TO THE CIA MEXICO STATION ABOUT OSWALD.
Obviously, not everyone in the CIA was party to the anti-JFK plot. Those who were not, were told lies where their work overlapped with the actions of the conspirators.
Jane Roman, an aide to James Jesus Angleton, told her colleagues lies about Oswald.

Roman knew about Oswald’s activities in New Orleans, including the fact he had been arrested after a scuffle with anti-Castro activists. She sent a report to the FBI on 4th October describing Oswald’s activities. Four days later, the CIA staff in Mexico sent a telegram to CIA HQ, at Langley, about the visit to the embassies by a man calling himself Oswald, i.e., the imposter. It read: ‘AMERICAN MALE WHO SPOKE BROKEN RUSSIAN SAID HIS NAME LEE OSWALD.’ Roman responded in a cable dated 10th October pretending the CIA had lost sight of Oswald after he had defected to Russia.
Authors John Newman and Jefferson Morley spoke to Roman before her death in 2007. She was 78 at the time and perfectly lucid.

Roman eventually acknowledged her sleight of hand: ‘Yeah, I mean, I’m signing off on something that I know isn’t true.’
Newman asked if this suggested ‘some sort of operational interest in Oswald’s file?’
Roman replied: ‘Well, to me, it’s indicative of a keen interest in Oswald, held very closely on the need-to-know basis’. She speculated that there had been an ‘operational reason’ for the lie to the CIA in Mexico. She said she was not privy to whatever ‘hanky-panky’ may have been taken place. Obviously, her boss, Angleton, was not only aware but was the author of the machination.

Morley was astonished: ‘John and I looked at each other and said, “Oh my fucking God”‘ because they had extracted an acknowledgment that Angleton and other senior CIA officers had a highly secret covert operational interest in Oswald that they had hidden from their colleagues in Mexico.’
One person in Mexico knew full well what was afoot, David Atlee Philips. He and Angleton were setting Oswald up as a fall guy.

If Jane Roman did not know the type of ‘hanky-panky’ that was afoot prior to Kennedy’s murder, she must have realised it after the event. What she said to Morley and Newman was, at the very least, an acknowledgement that Angleton was part of the conspiracy against JFK. There is every possibility she was a plotter too.
Richard Helms, the then deputy director of the CIA, secretly informed the Warren Commission, in a February 1964 memo, that the man in the Mexico City surveillance photos was not Oswald.

Despite Helm’s 1964 correction about the Mexico photographs, the Warren Commission claimed the pictures were of Oswald.
What are we to make of all of this? Clearly, the CIA knew all along that it wasn’t Oswald. The scheme was to make it look like Oswald was trying to get a visa to travel through Cuba, thence to Russia, and link Oswald to the Soviets. President Johnson and the Warren Commission ultimately decided to ignore the opportunity to implicate the Soviets.
The Mexico debacle became a farce with the deceitful Warren Commission tripping up over the mountain of lies about Mexico – it claimed – dishonestly – that Oswald had visited the two embassies and concealed the deception about the photographs.
38. RICHARD CASE NAGELL FEARED HE WAS BEING SET UP AS A PATSY FOR THE JFK HIT AND TOOK DRASTIC ACTION.
Richard Case Nagell, a highly decorated former soldier who knew Oswald from Japan, had some sort of a link to the CIA. He knew something about the plot to kill JFK in advance. Rather than get drawn into the abyss, he carried out a bank robbery on 20th September, 1963, to take him out of circulation. He walked into the State National Bank in El Paso, Texas, and fired two shots into the ceiling. Nagell then walked out of the bank after firing his weapon and sat down and waited for the police to arrive.

Author Dick Russell who investigated the case, discovered that Nagell feared that he was going to be used as a patsy. He was arrested and held in custody until after the JFK assassination.
39. THE CHICAGO PLOT, 2 NOVEMBER 1963.
JFK was scheduled to fly into Chicago’s O’Hare Airport on
Saturday November 2 1963, to attend the annual Army-Air Force football game at Soldier Field.
The Chicago branch of the Secret Service received a warning that four sharpshooters would try to assassinate JFK as his motorcade drove to the stadium. The plot, which was foiled, was remarkably similar to the one which would unfold in Dallas the following November.

The Chicago Secret Service found
four rifles with telescopic sights
inside a rented apartment and took
two of four suspects into custody.
Kennedy’s trip was cancelled in response.
The two suspects were released.
A patsy was lined up to take the blame for the shooting. His name was Thomas Arthur Vallee, a Korean War veteran. Vallee had found employment as a printer in one of the tall building that overlooked Kenndy’s planned route to Soldier Field. Oswald also secured a job overlooking JFK’s route in Dallas.

Like Oswald, Vallee was a former Marine. He had served at the CIA’s U2 base at Camp Otsu, Japan.
Valee had trained Cuban exiles. There are witnesses who say Oswald also trained Cuban exiles.
Vallee had a view of JFK’s route from his window at work, just like Oswald would have in Dallas. His view of JFK’s presidential limousine was three levels lower than Oswald’s view.

The motorcade in Chicago was scheduled to make a sharp turn right in front of Vallee’s building, thereby slowing Kennedy’s car to a crawl, again just like Dallas.
40. THE MIAMI PLOT, 9 NOVEMBER 1963.
On 9th November, 1963, two weeks before JFK was murdered, Joseph Milteer, a right-wing extremist, spoke to a police informant called William Somerset, in a Miami hotel room. Somerset recorded the conversation covertly.

Milteer was a friend of Guy Bannister and involved in a number of extreme right-wing groups. Milteer knew that JFK was a target of assassins. He said that the murder plot ‘was in the working’ and would be carried out ‘from an office building with a high-powered rifle’. The gun would be one that could be ‘disassembled’ to get it into the building and the police would ‘pick someone up within hours if anything like that happened just to throw the public off’.

Milteer stated that ‘the Cubans’ were involved in the plot to shoot Kennedy in Miami.
The secret tape recording was turned over to the FBI almost immediately. JFK was due to visit the city on 18th November. Extra security was arranged and the visit went off without an incident.
Milteer’s tape recorded remarks can be heard by clicking the link/graphic in the next paragraph:
A man bearing a remarkable resemblance to Milteer was photographed in Dealey Plaza on 22nd November, the day Kennedy was shot dead.
The patsy for the Miami hit appears to have been Gilbert Policarpo Lopez, a Cuban exile. Like Oswald, he had links to the Fair Play for Cuba Committee, had ties to Russia and even an unusual trip to Mexico City.

The Miami plot was foiled by the Miami Police, who passed details to the FBI and the Secret Service. Incredibly, no action was taken to warn the president. The Secret Service agents who were planning Kennedy’s trip to Dallas claimed they were not informed.

41. THE 180 PAGE DOSSIER ON ANGLETON’S DESK THE WEEK BEFORE JFK WAS SHOT.
If the Official narrative is to be believed, the CIA had no interest in Oswald, no idea where he was, or what he was up to, in the months before JFK was shot.

In reality, Angleton, knew about everything Oswald had done since November 1959, if not long, long before that. Angleton was ‘monitoring his politics, his personal life, his foreign travels, his contacts’, according to Angleton’s biographer, Jefferson Morley, citing government documents that were finally released in March 2025.
42. EUGENE B DINKIN, MONITORS THE OAS AND PREDICTS THAT JFK WILL BE ASSASSINATED ON 22 NOVEMBER 1963.
The OAS was a paramilitary organisation made up of retired and serving French soldiers who opposed France’s withdrawal from Algeria. Eugene B. Dinkin, a US Army cryptographer, was able to break into their transmissions. This offers a compelling explanation for his prediction that JFK would be shot on 22 November by a ‘communist’ or ‘negro’. He recorded this prediction in a report prior to the assassination and spoke to an array of journalists about it.
JFK expert Mark Groubert believes the OAS may have hacked into the CIA’s communication network in Europe and picked up on the date from this source.

The fact that the CIA’s ZR/RIFLE assassination programme (discussed later) employed Corsican hit men would have been of great interest to the OAS.
The CIA and the OAS also shared a common interest in toppling President Charles de Gaulle, another factor that would have prompted them to monitor each other.

Dinkin’s duties also required him to analyse certain publications for subliminal messaging. He cited this as the basis – in part at least – for his prediction that JFK was going to be assassinated on 22 November. However, that could have been a ruse to conceal his true source of knowledge, i.e., the OAS cables he intercepted. It would have been necessary to have concealed his knowledge of the OAS when he made contact with journalists and diplomats in Geneva prior to the assassination and told them about the forthcoming assassination of JFK.
In any event, a report submitted by Dinkin about the assassination caused alarm in the US, so much so that Lyndon Johnson flew on Air Force 2 to Europe to suppress the findings made by Dinkin.
Dinkin was later taken to a mental institution where he was forced to say he had mental difficulties.
The Dinkin case is one of many explored in a series of broadcasts about the JFK assassination hosted by Eric Hunley and the hugely entertaining – yet lethally knowledgeable – Mr. Groubert. Please follow the link above this paragraph to see their take on the Dinkin case.

43. ROSE CHERAMI WARNED OF THE LOOOMING ASSASSINATON
Rose Cherami was a prostitute and drug mule in November 1963. Earlier, she had worked as a stripper at Jack Ruby’s Carousel Club in Dallas. She was 34.
Two days before the JFK murder she participated on a Florida-to-Texas heroin run for Ruby with two of Ruby’s henchmen.

When the car she was travelling in reached rural Louisiana, a violent drunken argument broke out between her and the two men. It took place in public, outside a seedy brothel. The gang drove off but the row continued. The two men threw Cherami from the vehicle near Eunice.
She was taken to hospital where she told a Louisiana State Police officer, Lt. Francis Fruge, that she had been going to Dallas to pick up cash for eight kilos of heroin she’d been assigned to purchase in Houston. She proceeded to say that the two men were part of a plot to kill JFK. She repeated her prediction of a forthcoming assassination to her doctors and nurses.
Lt. Fruge told the HSCA that Cherami seemed ‘quite lucid’ during her conversations with him.
44. WHAT LYNDON JOHNSON TOLD HIS MISTRESS, MADELINE BROWNE IN THE RUN UP TO THE ASSASSINATION.
In the immediate run up to the assassination, Johnson told his mistress, Madeline Browne, that, shortly, the Kennedy brothers would never ’embarrass’ him again.

On another occasion, she asked him, ‘Lyndon, you’ve got to tell me. You’ve got to talk to me. Are you – were you – involved with Kennedy’s death?’ Finally, he said, ‘You know the people that I known … the oil people and the CIA … They did it.’

A short video of Browne’s account of this can be found here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wZlxu7JV34g
The longer version of Browne’s account can be found here:
45. LYNDON JOHNSON WANTED TO PUT HIS ARCH POLITICAL ENEMY IN JFK’S LIMOUSINE
Kennedy went to Texas at the insistence of Lyndon Johnson to heal a rift in the Democratic Party.
The Governor of Texas was John Connally, a supporter of Lyndon Johnson. Connolly was also Johnson’s former political administrative assistant. Connolly insisted that JFK’s cavalcade divert through the Dealy Plaza kill zone. When Kennedy’s advance preparation point man objected to the plan, Connolly told him that there would be no cavalcade unless it went through the plaza.

Connolly was scheduled to travel in the same vehicle as Kennedy. The night before the assassination, Johnson attempted to replace Connolly with his arch political enemy, Senator Ralph Yarborough. The ploy failed. Connolly was wounded the next day in the car.
Metal fragments from the bullets fired at the vehicle lodged in Connolly’s body. Each fragment was allegedly deposited as the ‘magic bullet’ passed through Connolly’s body. Yet, the ‘magic bullet’ was recovered in a pristine condition.

The fragments, on their own, prove Oswald could not acted alone as it would have been impossible – by all accounts – – even that of the Warren Commission – for Oswald to have discharged more than three bullets.
46. THE CORSCIAN CONNECTION.
A Corsican mafiosi called Christian David claimed he was approached by Marseilles Mafia boss, Antoine Guerini, to organise a shooting team to kill Kennedy.

David claimed that after he turned it down, Lucien Sarti, another Corsican gangster, accepted the contract.

Howard Hunt of the CIA (and head of Nixon’s plumbers) has confirmed the involvement of the French mafia in the assassination.
In an interview with researcher Stephen Rivale, Christian David stated that Sarti’s team entered the US through Mexico.
47. A RIGHT HAND TURN DESIGNED TO SLOW DOWN JFK’s VEHICLE
On the morning of Monday November 18, 62-year-old Forrest Sorrels, the man in charge of the Secret Service detail in Dallas, was instructed by Agent Winston Lawson, to make a crucial change to the route JFK would take. Lawson received the order from his superiors in Washington.

There was a route through Dealy Plaza that could have avoided a sharp left hand turn. The orders from Washington ensured the motorcade would turn right on to Dealey Plaza and then take an abrupt left turn, a change that would dramatically reduce the speed of JFK’s vehicle between the Texas School Book Depository building – where Oswald worked – and a stockade fence at the top of a grassy knoll peering down on to the plaza.
The alteration placed the President in a perfect kill zone.
48. THE SHIELD OF PROTECTION IS DROPPED.
None of the elaborate security measures were put in place in Dallas. No efforts were made to close windows above the motorcade route. Snipers were not put on top of tall buildings.
The running board on JFK’s vehicle was not in place to allow his Secret Service bodyguards create a human shield around him when they attack began.)

There was no vehicle in front of him in the motorcade, something that would have made it more difficult for the shooter on the grassy knoll to pick out his shot.
49. THE FLATBED TRUCK FOR THE PRESS IS CANCELLED AT THE LAST MOMENT.

The vehicle at the front of a presidential motorcade usually contained press photographers.
A flatbed truck with reporters had led the motorcade in Tampa, Florida.
The press truck was cancelled at the last minute in Dallas thereby preventing the press photographers from recording the attack.

50. KILL ZONE.

On 22nd November, 1963, Lyndon Johnson kicked up a fuss demanding that Jackie Kennedy ride in his limousine through Dallas. Johnson was fond of Jackie and did not want her killed or injured during the forthcoming attack on her husband. In the event, she travelled with JFK.

Johnson travelled a few cars behind the Kennedys’ vehicle. Photographs show him hunching down as the cavalcade enters the kill zone. He was a tall man, a lot taller than his wife. Yet, in all the pictures taken, he has sunk well below her level.

Next, JFK was shot by four or five marksmen in Dealey Plaza. The most devastating shot was pulled by an assassin behind the picket fence on the grassy knoll. Witnesses on both sides of the fence stated that shots were discharged from behind it.

The shocking 313rd frame of the Zapruder film reveals a shot from the front and right of Kennedy. It can only have come from behind the picket fence. It strikes his head and hurls JFK backwards and to the left. A shot from Oswald’s alleged ‘sniper’s nest’ in the Book Depository – which was now behind JFK – would have created the opposite momentum.

Mary Moorman took a polaroid picture at the exact moment Kennedy was struck in the front of his head. The picture can be seen above. The photograph has been blown up and enhanced (see below). Some researchers believe it is possible to discern the outline of a man shooting at Kennedy. He has become known as the ‘Badgeman’ as he appears to have a badge and looks like a Dallas police officer. A man in a hard hat stands next to him.

51. JFK’s VEHICLE SLOWED TO A CRAWL AFTER THE SHOOTING BEGAN.
The Secret Service driver of JFK’s limousine had a clear road ahead of him and a powerful engine with which to roar away from the shooting. Instead, he slowed down to a crawl in front of the grassy knoll thereby allowing the Corsican hit man behind the fence plenty of time to pick out his shot.
52. MEDICAL EVIDENCE.
The doctors who examined Kennedy in Dallas agreed that there was an exit wound at the back of his head. This was consistent with a shot from the grassy knoll. As the bullet flattened somewhat on impact, it blew part of the back of his skull out as it reached the rear interior of his head. The photograph below shows the doctors at Parkland Hospital pointing to the exit point.

The doctors were also of the view that a second shot – again from the front – had hit Kennedy in the throat.
All of this establishes that Oswald could not have been a lone gunman.

53. ACOUSTIC EVIDENCE OF MULTIPLE SHOTS.
A police motorcycle with an open radio link connected to the control desk at his HQ was in the cavalcade. It recorded multiple shots. This was the evidence that persuaded the HSCA, in 1979, that more than one gunman fired at Kennedy.

54. THE SECRET SERVICE IMPOSTER WHO HELPED THE HIT TEAM ESCAPE
In the immediate aftermath of the shooting, people ran towards the grassy knoll to catch sight of the men responsible for gun shots they had just heard.

For a moment, a man held the public back from the grassy knoll by producing a Secret Service identity card. These witnesses had heard shots from behind the fence. Some had seen and smelt gunshots. The Secret Service was the organisation responsible for protecting the life of the President. It was subsequently established that the man was an imposter. The service had not posted anyone at the location.
Sam Holland was one of the witnesses who saw smoke from behind the fence: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iaCwrmoa3sQ
Lee Bowers, a railroad controller, witnessed men behind the fence from a rail control tower, before and after the shooting. After it, they placed items in the rear of a vehicle and left the car park behind the knoll. They were able to get away quickly without interruption with the aid of the Secret Service imposter.

55. THE DAMAGE TO JFK’s LIMOUSINE IS CONCEALED.
The windscreen of JFK’s limousine was penetrated by a bullet which struck from the outside, i.e. from the grassy knoll.
A photograph of a bullet hole in the window and a dent were however taken before it disappeared.
The limousine was a crime scene and a source of vital evidence. It was shipped immediately for refurbishment to Detroit on the orders of Johnson.
The windscreen, a crucial piece of evidence, was destroyed.

Overall, there is a substantial amount of evidence that more than three shots were discharged.
56. THE ‘MAGIC BULLET’ CONSPIRACY THEORY.
The official narrative is that Oswald fired from the so-called ‘sniper’s nest’ in the Book Depository. While shots were undoubtedly discharged from that building, they were part of a triangulation of gunfire, possibly by two marksmen in the Depository, others in the Daltex building and another on the grassy embankment or knoll. All told, there were at least three teams around the kill zone including Cubans and other mafia hitmen.

The Warren Commission had to engage in science fiction to produce an account implicating Oswald as a lone gunman. It included a fantastic and impossible trajectory taken by the so-called ‘magic bullet’. This projectile allegedly managed to go through Kennedy and one of the other passengers, Governor John Connally, in a manner that defied science. Connally was seated in front of JFK. The bullet allegedly executed a near 90 degree turn in mid air. Having gone through the two men, it exited intact without any blemish and was found on Connally’s hospital stretcher at Parkland. Pieces of metal from this bullet lodged in Connally’s body. How the bullet was able to regrow its casing has yet to be explained by science and, of course, never will be. The ‘magic bullet’ theory is a fantasy. There were multiple shooters in Dealey Plaza, not one man. A number of bullets fired by them caused the damage the Warren Commission attributed to the single ‘magic bullet’.
Lyndon Johnson was recorded discussing the single bullet theory with Senator Richard Russell of the Warren Commission. Neither of them believed it was true. See https://x.com/timfattig/status/1823406091977548278?t=UHYqsLp9OdPKH3xRdjIL0g&s=19
57. PAUL LANDIS, DEMOLISHES THE SINGLE BULLET MYTH.
In 2023, a new piece of evidence which demolished the ‘magic bullet’ fantasy once and for all, emerged. James Robenalt reported in Vanity Fair that new evidence had emerged which showed that the magic bullet had been found in the back of JFK’s vehicle. It had not reached Connolly at all, let alone having gone through his body. Paul Landis, one of Jackie Kennedy’s Secret Service bodyguards, had found it on the back seat. He placed it on JFK’s gurney, at Parkland hospital, to let the autopsy staff know what type of bullets they were dealing with.

In addition, Landis was clear that he left the bullet on JFK’s gurney. The official narrative had been that it was found on Connolly’s gurney.
58. CLINT HILL PROTECTED THE KILLERS NOT THE PRESIDENT.
Paul Landis did not come forward after the shooting as he was advised by Clint Hill, a colleague in the Secret Service, that it would be better to say nothing. Clint Hill was one of the Secret Service unit which failed to protect JFK in Dallas. He ran and jumped onto JFK’s vehicle after the shooting ended.
Landis wrote two Secret Service reports shortly after the assassination both of which indicated that a shot came from the front.

Landis did not testify before the Warren Commission.
Hill, however, was interviewed by the Warren Commission. His evidence can be downloaded below:
Hill was portrayed by the mainstream media as a hero. He embraced this role even to the extent of signing photographs of himself jumping on JFK’s limousine after the president’s head had been blown apart.

In 2024 Hill attacked Landis saying, ‘If [Landis] checked all the evidence, statements, things that happened, they don’t line up. It doesn’t make any sense to me that he’s trying to put [the magic bullet] on the president’s gurney.’

59. OTHER BULLETS WHICH OSWALD COULD NOT HAVE FIRED PROVE A CONSPIRACY.

Another bullet tore into a piece of cement on a kerb in Dealy Plaza.
Yet another pierced the windscreen of JFK’s vehicle (as described above).
It would have been physically impossible for Oswald to have discharged five shots.
There have to have been more than one shooter in Dealy Plaza.
60. NO TRACE OF GUNPOWDER ON OSWALD’s CHEEKS
Oswald was tested for gunfire powder residue after his arrest. None was found on his cheeks despite the claim he fired three shots.
61. ROBERT KENNEDY SUSPECTED THE CIA KILLED HIS BROTHER FROM THE OUTSET.
On the afternoon of 22nd November, Robert Kennedy (RFK) summoned the director of the CIA, John McCone, to his home to ask ‘if they’ — the CIA — ‘had killed my brother,’ Kennedy revealed later. McCone said they had not.
RFK did not believe the rumours being circulated about Oswald being connected to the Soviets. He later sent a message to the Soviet embassy assuring them of his belief in their innocence.
RFK was Attorney-General but was out of circulation after the murder of his brother. Three days after the shooting, Nicholas Katzenbach, his deputy, issued the memo stipulating that the FBI was to conclude Oswald was the shooter.

RFK wasn’t the only person close to Kennedy who suspected a palace coup. On the return flight from Dallas to Washington, Kennedy’s secretary, Evelyn Lincoln, wrote down the people she suspected were behind the plot. Lyndon Johnson headed the list. A number of right wing organisations and Teamster, Jimmy Hoffa, featured underneath him, including the ‘CIA in Cuban fiasco’.

Lincoln’s suspicions about Johnson emanated from the fact she knew Kennedy planned to ditch Johnson as vice president. She was aware Kennedy was considering Governor Terry Sanford of North Carolina as Johnson’s replacement.

62. DAVID MORALES, CIA ASSASSIN.
E. Howard Hunt also named David Morales, Chief of Operations at the CIA’s JMWAVE station in Miami, as part of the kill team in Dallas.
Morales was a veteran CIA assassin.
Morales later told a number of his friends about his involvement in the slaying.

Many researchers believe Morales was on the 6th floor of the Book Depository during the shooting.
The Depository assassins escaped from the building before the police arrived.
After the hit, Lucien Sarti’s team also escaped successfully. They laid low for two weeks and then left the US through Canada.
63. THE MURDER OF J. D. TIPPET
Oswald was meant to have been shot dead after the assassination but realised what was happening and went on the run. According to the official narrative he either took a bus or a taxi and reached the residence at which he was staying at 1 o’clock. However, no witness recalls having seen him on the bus. No taxi driver recalls giving him a lift. It is more likely someone gave him a lift. Dealy Plaza was about five miles away from where Oswald was staying.
Oswald is meant to have been involved in a fatal shooting incident with a Dallas Police officer called J. D. Tippet, although it is difficult to understand how this could have happened. The time frame does not fit. Oswald could hardly have reached his residence, remained at it for a spell, and then walked to the location of the Tippet shooting. The time frame does not fit.

A lot of mystery surrounds the Tippet shooting. Tippet, a Texan, was driving a Dallas Police car. The entire police fleet was dispatched to Dealy Plaza, except for Tippet’s vehicle which was sent to Oakcliff, which was about a mile from where Oswald was staying.
Members of Sam Giancana’s family say that Tippet was sent to kill him. If so, Oswald discharged his gun in self-defence.
Oswald was arrested in a cinema and taken to the Dallas police headquarters.
64. CANTEEN ALIBI.
Oswald was able to provide evidence that he was in the building’s canteen, on a lower floor, at the time of the shooting, and identify who was there at the same time as him.

65. AFTER HIS ARREST, OSWALD TRIED TO CALL A MAN CALLED JOHN HURT.
In prison the only call Oswald attempted to make was to John Hurt, in Raleigh, North Carolina. Hunt was an individual with intelligence links, probably Oswald’s connection to his CIA handlers who had now cast him to the wolves.

Hurt had served as a Special Agent of U.S. Army Counterintelligence during World War II. When contacted by Dr Grover B. Proctor in 1980, ‘Mr. Hurt acknowledged this wartime service to me, but denied ever having been anything other than an insurance investigator and an employee of the State of North Carolina since the war.’ For further details see:
http://groverproctor.us/jfk/jfk80.html

66. GARY UNDERHILL, A CIA INSIDER, BLOWS THE WHISTLE AND IS FOUND SHOT DEAD A FEW MONTHS LATER.
The CIA withheld a memo on Gary Underhill until March 2025 when it was finally revealed. What did they have to hide?

Underhill was born in Brooklyn on 7th August, 1915. He graduated from Harvard in 1937. During WW2 he served with the Military Intelligence Service (6 July 1943 to May 1946). After leaving the Office of Strategic Services (OSS), he worked on specific projects for the CIA. He was also military affairs editor for Life Magazine, which meant he had ready access to the media.
After the assassination of JFK, Underhill told his friend, Charlene Fitsimmons, that he was convinced that JFK had been killed by members of the CIA. He also said: ‘Oswald is a patsy. They set him up. It’s too much. The bastards have done something outrageous. They’ve killed the President! I’ve been listening and hearing things. I couldn’t believe they’d get away with it, but they did!’

Underhill believed there was a connection to the CIA’s ‘Executive Action’ assassination programme and its use of Cuban paramilitaries in the hit. “They tried it in Cuba and they couldn’t get away with it. Right after the Bay of Pigs,’ he revealed. ‘But Kennedy wouldn’t let them do it. And now he’d gotten wind of this and he was really going to blow the whistle on them. And they killed him!’
Underhill told friends that he feared for his life: ‘I know who they are. That’s the problem. They know I know. That’s why I’m here. I can’t stay in New York.’

Gary Underhill was found dead on 8 May 1964. He had been shot in the head and it was officially ruled that he had committed suicide. However, in his book, Destiny Betrayed, James DiEugenio claimed that the bullet entered the right-handed Underhill’s head behind the left ear.
67. LYING ABOUT VALERY KOSTIKOV AND THE KGB’S ASSASSINATION PROGRAMME.
Oswald was meant to have met Valery Kostikov, an alleged KGB officer, in Mexico, in September 1963.
Kostikov was alleged to have run the Soviet’s assassination programme, via the 13th Department.
Kostikov was serving as vice consul at the Soviet embassy in Mexico when a man posing as Oswald tried in vain to get a visa to travel to the USSR in September 1963. The man, shown in a set of photographs above, did not look anything like Oswald. The man who rang the Soviet embassy posing as Oswald had poor Russian. Oswald was fluent in the language, so much so that when he first met Marina she believed he was a Russian.

The FBI spread rumours about this, all the while knowing it was a lie.
A document released as part of the March 2025 declassification event revealed that the CIA believed the KGB had abandoned the assassination programme in 1959.
Oswald’s alleged contact with Kostikov at the Soviet Embassy in Mexico City gave rise to rumours the KGB had directed Oswald to shoot Kennedy.
It looks increasingly likely that David Atlee Philips of the CIA organised this entire elaborate ruse. Oswald was seen in Philips’ company in the US by Antonio Veciana who worked for the CIA (see next section). Philips was probably manipulating Oswald all the while knowing that he was going to be frame for shooting JFK and then eliminated. Oswald may very well have – and in fact probably did – visit Mexico, although he did not go to the embassy to meet anyone, let alone a KGB assassination godfather.
The imposter was probably sent to the embassy by Philips to create the illusion that Oswald was in contact with the KGB and that it was behind the assassination.
68. ANTONIO VECIANA – ANOTHER CIA EMPLOYEE WHO SAYS THE CIA WAS INVOLVED IN THE ASSASSINATION OF JFK.
Antonio Veciana worked with David Atlee Philips whom he knew as ‘Maurice Bishop’. Veciana ran an anti-Castro paramilitary organisation called Alpha 66 which was financed and trained by the CIA (as described earlier.)
During his meetings with Philips in the US, Veciana observed the CIA man in the company of Oswald.

In later years Veciana stated explicitly that: ‘I was trained by the CIA, as was Oswald. Over the years of training I became a professional conspirator.’
He has also said that: “Oswald and Fidel Castro were ideal scapegoats for the murder of the president.“

Veciana who may have been deeply involved in the assassination has said that it ‘really was a coup d’etat’.
He also said that Philips was in Dallas on 22 November 1963.
69. RUBY KILLS OSWALD AND PRETENDS HE NEVER KNEW HIM.

Oswald was shot dead by Jack Ruby on 24th November, 1963, thereby saving the conspirators the turmoil of a trial at which Oswald might have established his innocence and convinced the public of a conspiracy.
Ruby pretended that he and Oswald were complete strangers to each other.
The public was led to believe that Ruby was an ordinary citizen who shot Oswald to spare Jackie Kennedy the trauma of a trial.

70. ROBERT KENNEDY LOOKS AT RUBY’S PHONE RECORDS.
Robert Kennedy was his brother’s attorney-general and had access to the phone records of Jack Ruby. He secured copies of them and established with whom he had been in contact. He described the resulting list as a ‘who’s who’ of the underworld.
71. RUBY REVEALS LYNDON JOHNSON WAS BEHIND THE JFK ASSASSINATION.
Jack Ruby later indicated Lyndon Johnson was behind JFK’s assassination. Ruby told TV reporters: ‘When I mentioned about Adlai Stevenson, if he was vice president, there never would have been an assassination of our beloved President Kennedy.’ A reporter asked him to explain what he meant and he replied: ‘Well, your answer is the man in office now [Lyndon Johnson].’
Listen to Ruby’s comments about Johnson here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R8W-YBa4570

On another occasion Ruby told the media: ‘The world will never know the true facts of what occurred, my motives. The people who had so much to gain, and had such an ulterior motive to put me in the position I am in, will never let the true facts come above board for the world.’ A reporter asked him: ‘Are these people in very high positions, Jack?’ to which he replies ‘Yes!‘

72. JOHNSON WARNS OF NUCLEAR WAR AND 40,000,000 US DEATHS IF OSWALD IS NOT PORTRAYED BY THE CHIEF JUSTICE AS A LONE ASSASSIN.

Johnson had become president. Declassified National Archives of Oval Office recordings reveal that Johnson told Sen. Richard B. Russell of Georgia, and Warren, about unverified rumours that Soviet or Cuban officials, were behind JFK’s death, and might push the United States into a war that could ‘kill 40 million Americans in an hour’.
Johnson handpicked Russell and others to serve on the forthcoming presidential commission. He told Russell: ‘I can’t arrest you and I’m not going to put the FBI on you but you’re goddamned sure going to serve.’ Russel did.

Russell was a founder and leader of the conservative coalition that dominated Congress from 1937 to 1963, and later became the most senior member of the Senate. He was a racist and opponent of JFK. Russell led Southern opposition to the civil rights movement.
Warren didn’t want to serve either. The declassified records refer to Johnson’s account of how Warren ‘started crying’ when Johnson refused to let him off the hook in a face-to-face meeting in the Oval Office. Warren knew he was going to have to break his oath, tell lies, mislead the public and, ultimately, destroy his reputation. He relented and agreed to chair the inquiry.

Allen Dulles, the former Director of the CIA and mastermind of the plot to kill Kennedy, was also appointed.
Gerald Ford, who later served as vice president to Richard Nixon, also served on the committee. After Nixon resigned, Ford became president.
73. THE COMMISSION THAT IGNORED ALL THE EVIDENCE, 1964-65.
Allen Dulles was appointed by Johnson to control the activities of what now became the Warren Commission. Its task was to determine that Oswald was a lone nut who killed Kennedy.

Dr. Robert McClelland, who treated JFK at Parkland Hospital, stated Arlen Specter, a lawyer for the Commission, told him the Commission had received statements from witnesses on the triple overpass confirming the shots from the grassy knoll, i.e., to the front of JFK, but it did not wish to pursue that line.
Dr McClelland was one of those who knew JFK had been struck by a bullet from the front from his wounds. See:
Instead, Specter concocted the ‘magic bullet’ theory for the Commission and the panel ignored all the medical evidence to the contrary.

Another Parkland doctor, Ron Jones, revealed that Specter that told him: ‘We have people who would testify that they saw somebody shoot the President from the front, but we don’t want to interview them and I don’t want you saying anything about that either.’
Allen Dulles made sure the Commission was kept in the dark. Warren Commission counsel, and later judge, Burt Griffin said: ‘[We were] betrayed because the CIA and FBI deliberately misled us.’
The photographs from the JFK autopsy were withheld from the Warren Commission lest the honest members of it realise that shots were discharged from in front of JFK
The group determined in 1964 that Oswald had acted alone.

74. THE RING ON OSWALD’S FINGER MOVES ABOUT IN SERIES OF PHOTOGRAPHS OSWALD SAID WERE FAKES.
The footage in this tweet is worth a thousand words. The ‘backyard’ photos are not authentic. The Warren Commission, however, treated them as such. They were used to portray Oswald as a gun nut.
75. MARINA OSWALD IS TOLD SHE WILL BE SENT BACK TO RUSSIA AND HER CHILDREN PLACED IN CARE UNLESS SHE TELLS THE PRESS AND WARREN COMMISSION LIES ABOUT HER HUSBAND.
Marina Oswald was taken away by the FBI. She was put up in a motel and held in isolation. She was coerced into telling lies to the Warren Commission. She was told that she would be deported and her children placed into care unless she agreed with a narrative which the FBI wrote for her. It portrayed Oswald as a violent man capable of killing JFK.
76. OSWALD’S MARINE COMMANDER TELLS THE PRESS OSWALD WAS RECRUITED BY THE CIA. A MEMO ON THE MATTER WAS CONCEALED UNTIL MARCH 2025.
A United Press International (UPI) reporter spoke to Oswald’s former marine commander who told him that Oswald had been recruited by the CIA in the 1950s.
The UPI reporter gave the CIA press office an opportunity to respond which they declined. The story caused a flurry inside the agency. The CIA Chief of Station (COS) in Japan became involved in the suppression of the article. The ploy to kill it was to pretend to the reporter that this was ‘old news’ that had already appeared in print. The chance of this succeeding was described in a memo which the CIA concealed until March 2025 as a ‘long shot’.

The CIA’s fear was that if they did not suppress the story that journalists in Japan would pursue the story.
If this was nonsense, why did the CIA go to all this effort? Why did they conceal the memo which addressed the issue until March 2025?
77. THE CIA PLOT TO MURDER COMMANDER BRUCE PITZER, THE NAVAL OFFICER WITH ACTUAL FOOTAGE OF JFK’s WOUNDS.
Commander William Bruce Pitzer, head of the Audio-Visual Unit at Bethesda Naval Hospital, captured footage of JFK at Bethesda Hospital, showing his actual wounds.
Somehow the footage was not confiscated.
He was tortured and murdered on 29 October 1966, to prevent him from sharing it with TV companies who made him lucrative offers to work for them after he retired.

The footage showed a frontal entry wound with an exit at the back of JFK’s skull. This was consistent with a shot from the Grassy Knoll, the evidence of eye witnesses and the doctors in Dallas.
Pitzer was murdered at his studio at Bethesda Hospital. There were signs of torture. His left hand was mangled, probably to force him to produce the footage which, since he murdered in the studio, was probably store there.
His murder was then presented as suicide.
Pitzer was left handed, yet the fatal shot was fired into the right side of his head, though if his left hand was mangled he would have had to have used his right hand. One friend stated that he was well known as being left handed, something that became apparent when he played and dealt cards playing bridge.

In the truly brilliant documentary series, ‘The Men Who Killed Kennedy’l, Lt. Colonel Dan Marvin, a trained US Army assassin, exposed the role of the CIA in plotting Pitzer’s murder.
Dennis Davis, a former colleague of Pitzer, was also interviewed by the production. (There is a link to it on Youtube at the end of this webbook.)

A transcript of the interviews and narration reads as follows:
Narrator: Lt. Colonel Dan Marvin has spent his life serving his country. A veteran of 8 combat campaigns, he earned 21 awards and decorations. Fifteen years a paratrooper, he served in the elite special forces, the Green Berets. Just a few weeks after the assassination, he volunteered for specialist guerilla training at Fort Bragg.

Daniel Marvin: Almost all the instruction in the guerilla war school was classified. The most secret was the top secret training on assassinations and terrorism. At that time we went to a different building, that had a double barb wire fence around it and guard dogs.

Daniel Marvin: On the John F. Kennedy situation, that was brought to our attention as a classic example of “THE WAY” to organize a complete program to eliminate a nation’s leader while pointing the finger at a lone assassin. It involved also the cover up of the assassination itself. We had considerable detail. They had a mock layout of the Plaza and that area, and it showed where the shooters were, and where the routes were to the hospital. I don’t remember where those were now. They had quite a bit of movie, film coverage, it seemed like thinking back to that time, and some still photos, the grassy knoll. They told us that Oswald was not involved, in the shooting and all, that he was the patsy, he the one that was was set up. We did, myself and a friend of mine, form the very distinct impression that the CIA was involved in Kennedy’s assassination. During the coffee break, we overheard one of the CIA instructors say to the other, “Things really did go well at Dealy Plaza, didn’t they?” or something to that effect. And that just reinforced, or really added to to our suspicions, and we really felt that before the end of the training was over that one of those instructors may have been involved himself in the assassination of John F. Kennedy.
Narrator: At Fort Bragg, fifteen months after his training, Dan was summoned to meet an official from the CIA, a company man. David Vanek, a fellow officer in assassination training, also attended.

Daniel Marvin: First the company man took me aside, showed me his badge, his ID card. Then he asked me if I would volunteer to kill a man, a United States Citizen, a naval officer. He didn’t tell me who it was at first, and I assumed what he was talking about was killing a man overseas. He asked me at first if I would accept an assignment to kill somebody, but he didn’t give me the name. But then I asked for the name, assuming that it would be, like I said, overseas. And he gave me the name, William Bruce Pitzer. Hard name to forget, really, once you hear it. And so, I told him yes, and then he said, we have to, he started to lay out the details of it, and the details included the fact that I would have to get him before he retired, and he retired in a very short period of time if I remember correctly and he was stationed at Bethesda Naval Hospital so I’d have to actually get him here in the United States. So I refused, because that wasn’t the way that we were trained that this was going to happen. We were supposed to be used as their assets, the CIA’s assets, for use in assassinations overseas. In the United States the Mafia was supposed to supply all resources they need for killing somebody here in the United States.

Daniel Marvin: So he then asked David Vanek, he went over to David Vanek and he talked to him. Now I don’t know what he talked to David Vanek about, he might have asked him the price of ice cream, I don’t know. But, I never saw David Vanek after that day. That was in August, the first week of August, 1965.
Narrator: In November 1963, William Bruce Pitzer was head of the Audio-Visual Unit at Bethesda Naval Hospital. A close colleague of the time was a young Petty Officer, Dennis David.

Dennis David: Three or four days after the assassination, I walked into this office and I saw, he was working on some film. He had a movie editor, one of those reel to reel that runs across with a screen. And he showed it to me, and it was a 16mm film of the autopsy. There were also some slides. He had some slides, that he had, that showed tissue slides and also showed some slides of President Kennedy that were taken from while he was on the table at the morgue.

And we looked at them, kinda horrified I guess you would say, at the seriousness of the wound, but I remember that one of the things that I remembered was that we saw there was a picture of Kennedy laying on the table and it was a front profile and the only thing we saw was a little hole about here in the temple (note: DD points to just beside the right eye) and in another photograph, another slide that Bill had, showed a huge gaping hole here in the back, and so Bill and I logically assumed that the wound was a frontal entry wound, as opposed to what the Warren Commission later said, being shot from behind.

Narrator: Dennis left Bethesda for a new posting. But in November 1966 a colleague gave him some distressing news, regarding his old friend Bill Pitzer. He had been found dead in a pool of blood, in his studio at Bethesda. The official verdict was suicide. Lying face down on the floor, a 38 revolver by his side, he had a bullet wound in his right temple.

Dennis David: When the occupational therapist had told me this, I remember, everybody said, that doesn’t make a hell of a lot of sense, because Bill was left-handed. We used to kid him all the time when we would play at bridge about being a southpaw, because sometimes he would deal in reverse instead of dealing them in the correct sequence, he’d deal them in the opposite way, and we would kind of harass him about it.
Narrator: There are grave doubts about Pitzer’s alleged suicide. His left hand had been so mangled, as if tortured, that his wedding ring could not be removed and given to his widow.
Dennis David: Bill had told me, shortly before I left Bethesda, which was around the 7th of December, of 1965, he told me that he was planning on retiring, because he had enough time in, and he was wanting to get out. And he also told me that he had some damned lucrative offers from some TV networks, and other people have asked me why I think he was assassinated, and I think it was because, that with him retiring, they, and I don’t know who “they” are, were afraid he would take these pictures that he and I had seen, this 35mm and the 16mm film, that he would take them and if he went to work for a major studio that they would use them or he would have them aired, and that would really blow some people out of the water if that would have transpired.

Daniel Marvin: I am absolutely certain that the name that I was given underneath those pine trees in Fort Bragg, North Carolina in the first week of August was William Bruce Pitzer. I put it completely out of my mind, from 1965 until 1993. I was watching this special, in November 1993 about the assassination of Kennedy. I think it was a special by Jack Anderson. At the end of that special, on the television, they rolled a list of 42 names of people who had met a violent death that were somehow associated with the assassination or the cover-up, or the autopsy or something. And I was sitting there in my living room, watching that, and the name William Bruce Pitzer came over the screen.

Daniel Marvin: (sobs) and it made me go right back to that day in August of 1965, that was the William Bruce Pitzer that I was asked to kill, unless there’s two William Bruce Pitzer’s who worked at Bethesda Naval Hospital. The name of the other Green Beret that was approached by the CIA agent in August, 1965, in Fort Bragg, North Carolina, was David H. Vanek, Captain, who went through the same training as I did, same class I was in. And I have tried, ever since I saw the name William Bruce Pitzer come out on that screen (sobs, wipes eyes), I have tried to find him. And I have been totally unsuccessful. I sent letters to the special office in the retired services directorate where they take a letter that you send them with a man’s name and serial number and they will forward it to him, or if he’s deceased, they will send it back to you.

Daniel Marvin: I got no response from them, so I finally sent another follow-up letter and demanded a response, or I threatened to go to Senator D’Amato to help me on the response. And then I did get a response, but the response I got was that David H. Vanek never existed in the United States Army.

Narrator: But Dan still has published Army orders proving that Captain David H. Vanek was with him at the special warfare center (video of orders).

Daniel Marvin: Recognizing just what kind of person I was, which I hopefully I am no longer, it is not an easy thing to do, it would be easier for me to just melt into the woodwork, and let my family, especially my grandchildren, think of me as kind of a friendly old giant, that helps them do things and plays with them, rather than what I have done in the past.
Daniel Marvin: And I know, that when this, if it is made public, the information that I have given, will adversely affect my relations with my family. I just hope and pray (sobs) that our love survives it, and I hope and pray that it does some good for this nation (sobs).

David Vanek was eventually traced and denied that he was at Fort Bragg with Marvin. He swore an affidavit to this effect.
The affidavit made no effort to explain why his name appeared on the orders in the document Marvin had retained.
Vanek failed to explain how the document contained his correct military code.
There was no explanation for why the US Army had told Marvin that Vanek did not exist.
Vanek never sued Marvin.

78. DID JOHNNY CARSON ATTACK GARRISON BECAUSE THE FBI KNEW HE WAS A SEX PEST? A SEX TAPE OF CARSON MASTURBATING ALSO EXISTS.
Johnny Carson, host of The Tonight Show, was the king of American TV in the 1960s and beyond. Behind the scenes, he was a drunk and a sexual predator who treated his family cruelly. He had multiple affairs, all of which were undoubtedly monitored by the FBI. Edgar J. Hoover was obsessed with the sex lives of Hollywood celebrities.

At one stage, Carson invested in a property development in Texas as a ruse to get away from Los Angeles to visit one of his mistresses who lived there.

He once confided to his lawyer, Henry Bushkin: ‘I can’t quit smoking and I get drunk every night and I chase all the pussy I can get. I’m shitty in the marriage department. Make sure you understand this.’
He was married four times.
He had three sons, all from his first marriage, one of whom, Rick suffered from mental health problems. Rick ended up committed in a mental hospital. Carson refused to visit him.

He was a sexual predator who not only abused those who worked with him but also his guests. Sally Field, the double Oscar winning actress, appeared on the Watch What Happens Live show with Andy Cohen, and discussed her experiences with Carson. When Cohen asked how she would describe the experience, she replied: ‘The octopus and the reluctant little guppy.’ Cohen then clarified the nature of the encounter by adding: ‘He was all hands with you.’
In 2014, a sex tape of Carson emerged. It showed a younger Carson with dark hair, probably from the early 1970s. It commenced with Carson masturbating by a swimming pool and then showed a woman with a bouffant hairdo felating him. This was followed by a 20-minute sex scene in a bedroom. See this TMZ clip which discusses the tape:
The tape was offered to his estate, which refused to purchase it, and threatened to sue if it was released. For legal reasons, the seller could then only offer it for private collectors, not companies. Some stills from the tape went into circulation.
These facts probably represent only a glimpse at the nasty secrets that Carson concealed from his adoring public.

It was common practice by the FBI, CIA and Mafia to record the intimate private lives of those they wanted to control. This was – and is still – called the collection of ‘kompromat’.

When Jim Garrison investigated the JFK case, probing the activities of David Ferrie, Guy Bannister, Jack Ruby and others and put CIA asset Clay Shaw on trial for conspiracy to murder JFK, Carson attempted to undermine Garrison. Garrison appeared on The Tonight Show on 31 January 1968. Garrison blamed the CIA for the assassination.
Carson did not give Garrison a fair hearing and stated that the notion of a conspiracy was a ‘fairy tale’.

It is difficult not to suspect that Carson was motivated to attack Garrison by a fear that his private life might be exposed if he gave someone attacking the CIA and FBI a fair hearing.
79. NIXON TRIES TO BLACKMAIL THE CIA, 1972.
During the Watergate scandal Richard Nixon tried to blackmail the CIA into taking the blame for the ‘Plumbers’ break-in at the Democrats HQ, at the Watergate building. Nixon knew the CIA had killed Kennedy and that E. Howard Hunt, who was now working for him, could reveal the whole story.
Frank Sturgis, whom Hunt named in 2004 as part of the JFK plot, was one of the Watergate burglars caught during the Watergate break-in.

Nixon had a recording facility in his Oval Office. He was recorded telling members of his inner circle on that:
We protected [Richard] Helms [of the CIA] from one hell of a lot of things .. You open that scab there’s a hell of a lot of things, and we just feel that it would be very detrimental to have this thing go any further. This involves these Cubans, [E Howard] Hunt, and a lot of hanky-panky that we have nothing to do with ourselves.

Nixon instructed his chief of staff, H.R. Haldeman, to tell Helms to halt the FBI’s probe into the Watergate break-in by claiming it as a CIA operation. A tape recorder in his office captured Nixon’s words:
Say, ‘Look, the problem is that this will open the whole, the whole Bay of Pigs thing, and the President just feels that, ah, without going into the details … don’t, don’t lie to them to the e0xtent to say there is no involvement, but just say this is sort of a comedy of errors, bizarre, without getting into it, the President believes that it is going to open the whole Bay of Pigs thing up again.’
Nixon’s instructions can be heard here: https://youtu.be/i-y2KQvvYtg?si=prRWaO_D3_vkRjLQ
In his memoirs, Haldeman disclosed how, when he saw Helms and brought up the Bay of Pigs, the CIA chief gripped the arms of his chair, leaned forward and shouted: ‘The Bay of Pigs has nothing to do with this! I have no concern about the Bay of Pigs.’ Haldeman said he was ‘absolutely shocked by Helms’s violent reaction‘.

Clearly, Nixon was not referring to the CIA’s sponsorship of the Bay of Pigs invasion since the world knew about the agency’s complicity in it. For a start, JFK had sacked Dulles and Cabell after it.
Nixon was being more subtle.
Haldeman wrote:
It seems that in all those Nixon references to the Bay of Pigs, he was actually referring to the Kennedy assassination. (Interestingly, an investigation of the Kennedy assassination was a project I suggested when I first entered the White House. Now I felt we would be in a position to get all the facts. But Nixon turned me down.)

John Ehrlichman, another Nixon staffer, attended the encounter. Helms, he revealed later, ‘yelled like a scalded cat’.
In retirement Helms’s account of the JFK assassination was brought up during a television interview. Helms tied himself up in knots about his alleged initial reaction to the shooting. See https://x.com/timfattig/status/1823049056651997381?t=Yd8wn4uL8TTy8qft5BNcug&s=19
80. WITH A ‘FRIEND’ LIKE BEN BRADLEE, WHO NEEDED ENEMIES?

Ben Bradlee has been lionised as a great newspaper editor. During his life he made great play from what he described as his ‘friendship’ with JFK.
Bradlee held himself out as a brave, courageous and objective reporter when he was nothing of the sort. He promoted JFK in the late 1950s and early 1960s while pretending to be an objective reporter. He even went as far as to compile a secret report for JFK on Lyndon Johnson while they were both vying for the Democratic Party nomination for the presidency.

Bradlee became editor of the Washington Post and was in charge of it when Bob Woodward and Carl Bernstein brought the Watergate scandal to the attention of the public. Woodward had high level sources in the FBI including Mark Felt (‘Deep Throat’).

At no stage did Bradlee order an inquiry into the JFK assassination despite all the resources at his disposal including Woodward and Bernstein. Towards the end of his life, Bradlee claimed that this was one of his regrets.
Mary Meyer was Bradlee’s sister-in-law. Meyer was the mistress of JFK and the former wife of Cord Meyer of the CIA. She was murdered in 1964. She left a diary behind her. Bradlee went to her house to see if he could find it. When he got there he found that his friend James Jesus Angleton of the CIA was present and had already confiscated it. Bradlee let him take it and said nothing at the time.

Bradlee may simply have been an opportunist or had dark secrets to hide to have behaved in such an unethical manner. As a younger man he was a noted womaniser. The FBI and CIA may have had sexual ‘kompromat’ on him. Angleton in particular was a sexual blackmailer.

It would require a book all of its own to provide even a glimpse at the corruption of the US media over the decades since the assassination of JFK. It is anybody’s guess how much control was exerted over these people because of the existence of kompromat about them.
81. NIXON SAID BOTH HE AND LYNDON JOHNSON WANTED TO BECOME PRESIDENT BUT THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THEM WAS THAT HE WAS NOT PREPARED TO KILL FOR IT.
Roger Stone worked for Nixon during his retirement. On one occasion after consuming alcohol, Nixon told Stone that while both he and Johnson wanted to become president, unlike Johnson, he was not prepared to murder to achieve his goal.
Nixon also told Stone that the “Warren Commission was the biggest goddamn hoax in American history”.

Nixon probably learned the full truth about the plot from insiders such E Howard Hunt. Hunt was head of Nixon’s private Whitehouse intelligence unit, the ‘Plumbers’.
82. PRESIDENT FORD WAS BLACKMAILED BY EDGAR J. HOOVER WHO HAD A RECORDING OF HIM BEING FELATED BY A GERMAN WOMAN CALLED ELLEN ROMETECH.
Congressman Gerald Ford served as a member of the Warren Commission. Privately he told friends that he never believed in the lone gunman conspiracy theory. Unfortunately he was a corrupt and entirely compromised politician. Edgar J Hoover had incriminating tapes of him one of his mistresses, Ellen Rometsch.

Bobby Baker, an aide to Lyndon Johnson revealed before his death that he was aware that Ford had had an affair with Rometsch.
Rometsch was a lot more than a mistress to various politicians. She was originally sent to the West by East German intelligence to befriend powerful politicians. She started in West Germany where she married air force Rolf Rometsch. The couple later moved to Washington.

She began working as a hostess at the Quorum Club, a salon for male politicians which was run by Bobby Baker. It was part of Hoover’s honeypot operations. As part of her role there, Rometsch arranged prostitutes and slept with targets herself.
Ford’s relationship with Ms Rometsch took place during his time on the Warren Commission where he was tasked with investigating President Kennedy’s assassination.

However, Ford may already have been compromised by the FBI. When it was announced that he would serve on the commission, William Sullivan, the number three figure in the FBI was present when Hoover expressed his delight that Ford was appointed.
This would explain Ford’s corrupt behaviour while on the commission. Ford was responsible for misrepresenting a bullet shot wound in JFK’s shoulder as one which struck his neck.

Gerald Ford became President of the US in 1974 and served until 1976.
According to Baker: ‘So, (Hoover) had this tape where Jerry Ford was having oral sex with Ellen Rometsch. You know, his wife had a serious drug problem back then… Hoover blackmailed… Ford to tell him what they were doing,’ Baker said.

83. MORE BLACK PROPAGANDA ABOUT LEE HARVEY OSWALD.

Priscilla Johnson McMillen wrote a book about Lee and Marina Oswald which portrayed LHO as a likely assassin of the president. It was published in 1977. Priscilla Johnson McMillen was a CIA asset. One of the declassified 2025 CIA files establishes her status as an employee of the Agency. Her book, an international bestseller, cemented the image of Oswald as JFK’s assassins in the eyes of many.

84. PRICILLA JOHNSON OF THE CIA ‘FINDS’ TICKETS WHICH ALLEGEDLY SHOW OSWALD DID TRAVEL TO MEXICO.
During her numerous conversations with Marina Oswald, Johnson had access to her property. She exploited this access to plant and then ‘find’ two tickets in a magazine which were meant to show that Oswald had travelled to Mexico. They were ‘found’ by her very late in the day and after numerous searches of the Oswald’s property had not revealed the tickets.
85. SENATOR GARY HARTE TAKES ON THE CIA, BIDS TO BECOME PRESIDENT AND HAS TO BOW OUT DUE TO A FAUX SCANDAL.

Gary Hart was elected to the US Senate in 1972. In 1975, he joined the Select Committee to Study Governmental Operations with Respect to Intelligence Activities led by his colleague Frank Church. The committee investigated alleged abuses of power by the CIA and FBI.
The committee discovered that the CIA and FBI had sent anonymous letters attacking the political beliefs of targets to induce their employers to fire them. Similar letters were sent to spouses in an effort to destroy marriages. The committee also documented criminal break-ins, the theft of membership lists and misinformation campaigns aimed at provoking violent attacks against targeted individuals.

One of those people targeted was Martin Luther King (MLK). The FBI mailed MLK a tape recording made from microphones hidden in hotel rooms. The tape was accompanied by a note suggesting that the recording would be released to the public unless King committed suicide.
In September, 1975, a sub-committee made up of Hart and Richard Schweiker reviewed the performance of the FBI and CIA in the JFK assassination. Hart and Schweiker became very concerned about what they found. On 1st May, 1976, Hart said: ‘I don’t think you can see the things I have seen and sit on it.’

When the final report of the Church Committee was published in 1976, Hart, Walter Mondale and Philip Hart added an appendix revealing that ‘important portions of the Report had been excised or security grounds’. They accused the CIA of using ‘the classification stamp not for security, but to censor material that would be embarrassing, inconvenient, or likely to provoke an adverse public reaction to CIA activities’.

The appendix stated that: ‘Some of the so-called security objections of the CIA were so outlandish they were dismissed out of hand. The CIA wanted to delete reference to the Bay of Pigs as a paramilitary operation, they wanted to eliminate any reference to CIA activities in Laos, and they wanted the Committee to excise testimony given in public before the television cameras. But on other more complex issues, the Committee’s necessary and proper concern for caution enabled the CIA to use the clearance process to alter the Report to the point where some of its most important implications are either lost, or obscured in vague language.’

Hart called for a new Senate Committee to look into the events surrounding the assassination of JFK. He felt Oswald’s relationship with the FBI and CIA deserved scrutiny. He told the Denver Post that the questions that needed answering included: ‘Who Oswald really was – who did he know? What affiliation did he have in the Cuban network? Was his public identification with the left-wing a cover for a connection with the anti-Castro right-wing?’
In the interview Hart went on to state that he believed Oswald was probably operating as a double-agent. He thought this was one of the reasons why the FBI and CIA had made ‘a conscious decision to withhold evidence from the Warren Commission.’

In the summer of 1983 Hart announced his candidacy for the 1984 presidential election. He was successful in a number of primaries, including New Hampshire, Florida, Ohio and California, but was eventually lost the nomination to Walter Mondale who had served as vice president to Jimmy Carter.
Hart left the Senate in 1987 in order to concentrate on becoming president in 1988. He soon emerged as the front runner for the Democratic Party until, on 3 May, 1987, the Miami Herald published a story that suggested that Hart was having a sexual relationship with Donna Rice. Hart’s wife supported him claiming that his relationship with Rice was non-sexual. Two days later the Miami Herald obtained a photograph of Hart with Rice aboard the ‘Monkey Business’. This photograph was subsequently published in The National Enquirer.

Johnny Carson went to town on Hart making him the butt of his jokes on the Tonight Show. By now, Carson was so powerful, he could derail a candidate’s presidential bid. Television critic Greg Dawson wrote: ‘Isn’t it reassuring to know that the identity of the next president of the United States could be decided in large part by Johnny Carson’s joke writers? Is this a great democracy or what?’

Rice and Hart have consistently denied that their relationship was sexual and said they were just friends.
86. THE HOUSE SELECT COMMITTEE ON ASSASSINATION. RICHARD A. SPRAGUE TRIED TO ESTABLISH THE TRUTH.
In 1976 Democratic Congressman Thomas N. Downing began campaigning for a new investigation into the assassination of JFK. Downing said he was certain that Kennedy had been killed as a result of a conspiracy. He believed that the recent deaths of mobsters Sam Gianncana and Johnny Roselli were highly significant. Roselli was a CIA asset. He also argued that the CIA anf FBI had withheld important information from the Warren Commission.

in 1976, Congress voted to create a 12-member committee to investigate the deaths of Kennedy and also Martin Luther King. It was called the House Select Committee on Assassination (HSCA).
Downing became chair of the HSCA and assigned Richard A. Sprague as chief counsel.

Sprague was a criminal prosecutor. He had become a national figure after successfully prosecuting Tony Boyle, President of the United Mine Workers for the murder of Joseph Yablonski. He also had a record of 69 homicide convictions out of 70 prosecutions.

Gaeton Fonzi, an honest and effective HSCA investigator, said later: ‘Sprague was known as tough, tenacious and independent. There was absolutely no doubt in my mind when I heard of Sprague’s appointment that the Kennedy assassination would finally get what it needed: a no-holds-barred, honest investigation. Which just goes to show how ignorant of the ways of Washington both Sprague and I were.’
Sprague quickly assembled a staff of 170 lawyers, investigators and researchers.
87. THE SMEAR CAMPAIGN AGAINST RICHARD SPRAGUE LED BY A PAEDOPHILE, A BRIBE TAKING CONGRESSMAN AND A DIRTY TRICK EX-FBI EXPERT.
Robert Bauman was elected to the U.S. House of Representatives in 1973. A Roman Catholic and staunch Republican, he was married at the time and had four children.
Secretly, he was a paedophile and child rapist.

He led a smear campaign against Richard Sprague.
Bauman claimed Sprague had had a ‘checkered career’ and was not to be trusted.
Bauman’s sordid secret life was exposed in 1980, when he was arrested for soliciting sex from a 16-year-old male prostitute.

Bauman alleged he suffered from alcoholism, completed a rehab program and somehow managed to get the charges dropped.
Bauman was also the co-founder and legal counsel for the Sovereign Society, a group dedicated to promoting offshore banking and investment, that funneled clients to a Panamanian law firm to help them avoid paying taxes to the United States government. ‘Our [the Sovereign Society] philosophy is not promoted by tax evasion but tax avoidance,’ Bauman claimed in an interview. ‘We serve as a conduit for people who want certain things offshore.’

Richard Kelly was a Republican U.S. Representative from Florida’s 5th district, serving from January 3, 1975, to January 3, 1981. He dubbed the HSCA a ‘multimillion-dollar fishing expedition for the benefit of a bunch of publicity seekers.’
Kelly was financially corrupt. In 1980, he was convicted in the Abscam scandal for taking $25,000 in bribes and served thirteen months in prison.

David B. Burnham of The New York Times joined Bauman and Kelly’s campaign alleging Sprague had mishandled a homicide case involving the son of a friend. Burnham’s motive for this vilification remains unclear. The FBI or CIA must have had some dirt on him.

Another dubious character was Congressman Eldon J. Rudd of Arizona. He claimed that the HSCA had ‘already fanned the flames of rumour, distortion and unwanted distrust of law inforcement agencies’.
Rudd had served as a special agent for the FBI in 1950s and 1960s. J. Edgar Hoover appointed him as the FBI’s legal attache at the US Embassy in Mexico City where he served from 1960 to 1970. He was stationed in Mexico during the visit by the Oswald imposter to the Cuban and Soviet embassies in Mexico City.

After JFK was assassinated, Rudd brought some of the documents the CIA had caused to be generated by their vassals in Mexican intelligence to Dallas. They included files relating to Oswald’s alleged connections to the pro-Fidel Castro Fair Play for Cuba Committee; Oswald’s alleged trips to and from Cuba, and his alleged activities in Mexico City. Rudd obtained Oswald’s file from the Mexican government and flew a Cessna a aircraft from Mexico City to Dallas, Texas, to provide the documents to FBI officials in Dallas as Kennedy’s body was on its way to Washington, D.C.
Rudd was a tireless supporter of CIA dirty trick operations in Central and South America. Rudd was the last American to visit with the CIA stooge, playboy, mass murderer, torturer, and bribe taking Nicaraguan despot ‘President’ Anastasio Somoza Debayle. Somoza personally controlled 22 percent of the agricultural land of Nicaragua.
Classified as one of the bloodiest dictatorships in Latin America, the Somoza regime tortured and murdered thousands of Nicaraguans, without distinction: women, children and men, for years, were executed daily in the Central American nation.
The dictatorship bombed entire cities, where the civilian population was defenseless, devastating the country, and plunging Nicaraguans into deep mourning and terror.

Massacres perpetrated by the Somoza regime included – among many others – the Posoltega trench atrocity, against agricultural workers in the west of the country; the massacre of 22 January 1967 whose number of victims has not yet been determined. Also, the massacre of 15 September, 1978 in the neighborhood of Guadalupe in León, where 22 civilians were machine-gunned, crushed by a tractor and then sprayed with gasoline. Throughout the Somoza dynasty, conservative figures show at least 50,000 people killed across the country.
Congressman Eldon J. Rudd of Arizona treated Somoza like a respected statesman while disparaging Sprague and his attempts to probe the JFK assassination.
During the 1980 US presidential election Rudd, with help from FBI cronies who had access to security officials at the White House, allegedly obtained debate preparation documents prepared for President Jimmy Carter for his election debates against Republican nominee Ronald Reagan and provided the so-called ‘Carter debate papers’ to the Reagan presidential campaign in the Debategatescandal.

On 2 February, 1978, Henry Gonzalez, a Lyndon B Johnson stooge, replaced Thomas N. Downing as chair of the HSCA. Gonzales was a violent man. In 1986 he responded to a taunt by punching a man in the face. González was acquitted of assault when his victim dropped the charge.

The first act Gonzalez took after taking over the HSCA was to sack Sprague as chief counsel. Sprague claimed that only the full committee had the power to dismiss him. Congressman Walter E. Fauntroy launched a campaign to keep Sprague as chief counsel. On 1 March, 1976, Gonzalez resigned describing Sprague as ‘an unconscionable scoundrel’.

Louis Stokes of Ohio was appointed as the new chairman of the HSCA. He was a Prince Hall Freemason. This is a branch of North American Freemasonry created for African Americans which was founded by Prince Hall on 29 September, 1784.
After a meeting with Stokes on 29 March, 1976, Sprague agreed to resign and he was replaced by the lamentable and gullible dolt, G. Robert Blakey.

Sprague later told Gaeton Fonzi that the real reason he was removed as chief counsel was because he insisted on asking questions about the CIA operations in Mexico. Fonzi revealed that ‘Sprague… wanted complete information about the CIA’s operation in Mexico City and total access to all its employees who may have had anything to do with the photographs, tape recordings and transcripts. The Agency balked. Sprague pushed harder. Finally the Agency agreed that Sprague could have access to the information if he agreed to sign a CIA Secrecy Agreement. Sprague refused…. “How,” he asked, “can I possible sign an agreement with an agency I’m supposed to be investigating?”‘

88. ‘INFORMATION IN THE KENNEDY ASSASSINATION THAT OTHERS BESIDES OSWALD MUST HAVE PARTICIPATED’.
Dr. George Burkley was the only medical eyewitness to have fully attended both the Parkland Hospital (Dallas) and Bethesda (Maryland) autopsy procedures of JFK.

On 18 March, 1977, Dr. Burkley’s lawyer contacted Richard Sprague, while he was still Chief Counsel for the HSCA, to tell Sprague that his client had ‘information in the Kennedy assassination indicating that others besides Oswald must have participated’.
Sprague was forced out of the HSCA ten days later.

This contemporaneous memo by Sprague memorializing his conversation with Burkley’s lawyer was first publicly released by the Assassination Records Review Board in the mid 1990s, long after both Burkley and his lawyer were dead.
89. THE HSCA, DRE AND THE CIA, 1976-79.
Oswald’s masquerade as a left-wing activists in New Orleans involved an altercation with members of an anti-Castro organisation called the Directoria Revolucionario Estudiantil (DRE).
DRE was a CIA-controlled organisation controlled by George Joannides.
Joannides joined the CIA in 1951 and later became chief of the Psychological Warfare branch of the CIA’s JM/WAVE station in Miami. In this role he worked closely with the DRE.

Joannides was the CIA officer who dealt with the HSCA pretending his name was ‘Walter D. Newby’. He was the poubt of cobtact between the CIA and the HSCA in respect of the DRE. He lied to the HSCA on an industrial scale. Joannides even told them that the identity of the DRE’s case officer in 1963 – Joannides himself – could not be determined.
When Jefferson Morley revealed this to Robert Blakey, the chief counsel of the HSCA, Blakey ‘went ballistic’. Blakey said: ‘They flat-out lied to me about who he was and what he was up to.’

Blakey released a written statement arguing that Joannides and his superiors were guilty of the obstruction of justice. ‘I no longer believe that we were able to conduct an appropriate investigation of the Agency and its relationship to Oswald.’
90. THE CIA BROKE INTO THE HSCA SAFE.
A CIA agent called Regis T. Blahut broke into the HSCA safe where he had an opportunity to examine the content of the documents therein. He interfered with a collection of autopsy photographs.
The JFK files released in 2025 confirmed Blahut was a CIA asset.

91. STEALING FROM THE DEAD
Winston Scott was the CIA’s Head of Station in Mexico City during Oswald’s alleged visited to the city. He retired in 1969 and wrote his memoirs entitled ‘It Came Too Late’. He was meant to meet with CIA Director Richard Helms in Washington on 30 April, 1971, to discuss its contents for clearance.

He died of a sudden heart attack four days before the meeting.
Scott’s son, Michael, later told JFK author Dick Russell that James Jesus Angleton took the draft from the family in person.
Angleton also stole three large cartons of files, including a tape recording containing the alleged voice of Lee Harvey Oswald.
Michael Scott has stated that he was informed by a CIA source that his father’s death was not from natural causes.
The CIA eventually returned the manuscript to the family. 150 pages were missing. Chapters 13 – 16 were missing. These pages would have covered his time in Mexico.
The missing pages did not reappear in 2025.
Angleton stole other papers from the dead.
Thus it would appear that Angleton’s purloined archive has either been destroyed or is not yet declassified.

Winston’s passung was one of a large number of highly suspicious deaths.

92. E. HOWARD HUNT’s LIES ABOUT DALLAS ARE DEMOLISHED IN THE WITNESS BOX. A TRIAL JURY THROWS OUT HUNT’s LIBEL ACTION.
E. Howard Hunt took a libel action against Liberty Lobby after it publishes a claim in 1978 that suggested the CIA would would implicate him in the assassination of JFK. Hunt initially won a jury trial and was awarded $650,000 in compensatory and punitive damages.

Mark Lane represented Liberty Lobby in the retrial.
Lane’s cross-examination focused on Hunt’s whereabouts on the day of the assassination. Hunt started out by claiming he had taken the libel action to prove to his family that he had not been in Dallas on 22 November 1963, and was therefore not a part of the murder conspiracy. In a calamatous mistake, Hunt later alleged that he had been at home with his wife and children on 22 November 1963. This was a lie which Lane found easy to expose: if he had truly been at home on 22 November, his family would have always known that he had not been in Dallas whereby there was no need for Hunt to have pursued the libel action in the first place to put their minds at ease.

The fact that Hunt was a perjurer was confirmed in 2004 by no less a figure than Hunt himself.
93. THE CONFESSION OF E. HOWARD HUNT, 2004.
E. Howard Hunt finally came clean and provided a detailed account of the murder of Kennedy in 2004.
Hunt described the JFK plot as the ‘Big Event’. He was invited to participate in it at a meeting as a CIA safehouse in Miami in 1963.
He maintained he became a ‘bench warmer’ in the operation.
He named Lyndon Johnson, David Philips, Cord Meyer, David Morales and Antonio Veciana, as participants.

Another participant was Frank Sturgis, an anti-Castro paramilitary closely associated with Hunt. Sturgis was one of the Watergate burglars.

He also named Bill Harvey of the CIA as a key figure in the operation. Harvey ran the CIA’s assassination programme which was known as ‘ZR/RIFLE’. Harvey had links to the Corsican mafia whose assassins he used to murder CIA targets.

Harvey hated the Kennedys who exiled him to Europe after he sent sabotage teams into Cuba during the 1962 Missile Crisis against their orders.
Harvey was a friend of Johnny Roselli who worked for the CIA and the mafia, and is believed to have played a part in the JFK murder. In 1999, Harvey’s widow confirmed the friendship with Roselli.

An excellent article including the 1999 video interview with Harvey’s widow can be found here: https://jfkfacts.org/cia-widow-denounced-jfk-jackie-and-rfk-then-she-expressed-love-for-a-gangster/

Hunt’s account can be heard here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FDjP7kgF-K8
Hunt focussed on the main players in the plot, not those lower down such as David Ferrie. We know, however, that Ferrie lied about his whereabouts on the day of Kennedy’s assassination. Jack Martin, one of Guy Bannister’s associates, revealed Ferrie acted as a pilot for some of those involved in the conspiracy.

Two other important conspirators were Allen Dulles and Charles Cabell, the director and deputy director of the CIA, both of whom were dismissed by Kennedy after the Bay of Pigs fiasco. In his book on Dulles, David Talbot argues convincingly that Dulles oversaw the operation. He spent the weekend of the hit at a CIA base even though he was no longer in the agency.

Charles Cabell was the brother of Earle Cabell. Earle was mayor of Dallas in 1963. He played a part diverting JFK’s cavalcade into Dealey Plaza – which was not a logical route for the vehicles to take – and made him easy prey for the riflemen waiting for him there. This detour forced the cars to take sharp turns and slow down.

94. OTHER CONSPIRATORS

There were many other people involved in the Kennedy assassination, including Major-General Edward Lansdale, seen in the photograph above with Allen Dulles.
There is evidence of the involvement of Cubans such as Herminio Diaz Garcia and others. Interested readers might care to purchase a copy of Anthony Summers’ book, ‘Not in Your Lifetime’.
Robert Kennedy Sr never accepted the finding of the Warren Commission. He went along with it for tactical purposes to buy time. He hoped to unravel the conspiracy by becoming president himself. However, he was shot dead in equally suspicious circumstances in 1968.
Sam Giancana’s family said Giancana boasted the CIA murdered him too.

He was shot by Sirahan Sirhan who was a gambler who owed the mafia money as a result of horse betting. He pulled the trigger but was not a professional hit man.
There was a second gunman, Thaine Eugene Cesar, whose shooting role was covered up by the CIA, FBI and corrupt LA Police officers.

Sirhan Sirhan is still alive and in prison, still terrified to tell the truth about the mafia pressure that was brought to bear on him to shoot RFK.
Robert Kennedy Jnr has accused Cesar of complicity in the murder of his father.
96. TUCKER CARLSON AND THE CLASSIFIED CIA FILES.
Tucker Carlson was a broadcasting superstar on Fox News. He was even tipped as the political heir to Donald Trump, until he was sacked – without an explanation – by Rupert Murdoch, the owner of News Corp, last April. What went wrong?

Many observers believe Murdoch jumped into bed with the CIA when he befriended Ted Shackley, a CIA highflyer, in the early 1970’s. Murdoch’s business partner, Peter Abeles, also became a CIA ally by establishing Australia’s Nugan Hand bank in 1973. It was used by the CIA for all sorts of nefarious purposes until a scandal in 1980.
By the early 1980’s, Murdoch was part of the furniture at the CIA. It was to him that William Casey, the Director of the CIA under Ronald Reagan, turned when he wanted to generate media support for CIA operations in Central America. Murdoch’s empire became a cheerleader the CIA’s Contra mercenary army in Nicaragua.

In 2011, Murdoch sent an emissary to General David Petraeus in Afghanistan to ask him to run for president with the promise he would bankroll his campaign. Petraeus refused but went on to become DCI.
Carlson’s relationship with the CIA has been less harmonious. Born in San Francisco in 1969, he was rejected by the CIA, when he applied to join it after his graduation.

Instead, he rose to become a champion for the Right on Fox News. Whereas Trump is uncouth and aggressive, Carlson came over as intelligent and articulate. Ideal material for a tilt at the White House in 2028 one might think?
The speculation about the reason for Carlson’s dismissal by Murdoch is less than impressive. Murdoch recently paid $787 million to Dominion Voting Services for defamation. A January 2021 broadcast by Carlson was cited in the suit, but it was but one of twenty transmissions that defamed Dominion. The other broadcasters were not sacked.

Carlson’s emails, in which criticised management, have also been mooted as an explanation. Can they really have upset Murdoch who sacks managers frequently? Then there is an allegation that Carlson contributed to a toxic atmosphere at Fox, something that sparked another legal suit. Murdoch is fighting it. Sacking a key witness is hardly conducive to its defence.

The real reason for the dismissal may relate to Tucker’s probe into the Kennedy assassination.
Millions of Americans watched his broadcast about the JFK assassination. It was highly critical of the CIA. An additional 10.4 million have viewed it on YouTube.
See: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PAiRmhXvJHs).
Tucker has now moved on the ‘X’ (formerly Twitter) platform where he has maintained his massive following.
97. THE US IS HARDLY A TRUE DEMOCRACY.

Can the medical staff at Parkland Hospital, Marguerite Oswald, Lee Harvey Oswald, E. Howard Hunt, David Atlee Philips, Jack Ruby, David Morales, Christian David, James and Elsie Wilcott, Ann Egeter, Eugene B. Dinkin, Rose Cherami, Madeline Browne, Jane Roman and the Giancanas, all have been telling a lie which, by coincidence, created a consistent story about the JFK assassination? What about Delphine Roberts and Richard Cummings?
If they are not liars, it means the US is not a true democracy.
